Excellent hotel. Large spotlessly clean room, ours had a balcony overlooking the lake. Free bike hire and car park. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Pinocchio restaurant overlooks the lake where you can sit outside, weather permitting. The Spa is very relaxing with sauna, steam room, ice shower, pool and reclining sun loungers...robe, flip flops and towel provided. The staff were pleasant, attentive and very helpful. Short walk to the ferry for a trip on the lake. About an hour into Bergamo on the bus. I always stay here when in Lovere. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is 7min walk to the main square. A building across from the lake despite no view but excellent room. Spacious with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom is spacious and hot shower. The host is kind and attentive and welcoming. Everything was excellent!!

The views of lake and the hills were out of this world.

The views of lake and the hills were out of this world. However, mid April the Isola ferrry services were not running, and some restaurants were closed. Great Sanctuary on top of the hill for a steep walk. Good choice of places to eat or have aperitifo. Brilliant lakeside board walk. Good public transport, but few bus services in the evening. Very helpful tourist info at the lakeside

Views and people exceptionally friendly and welcoming A wander around the old town is easy If your good with heights climb up the tower in town the views are amazing and it’s completely free As is a visit to the basilica not far away is jaw dropping with its painted ceiling. The guide in the fabulous basilica was charming The lake transport was easy to use and not expense Just remember some insect protection when sitting by the water at certain times. One of the lakes many treasures

Monte Isola was fun, and so was our trip to Bienno.

Monte Isola was fun, and so was our trip to Bienno. We had looked forward to hiking the Via Valeria, an ancient Roman road, but parts of were asphalt with cars. Traffic was heavy. Nevertheless the mountains are dramatic and beautiful. Romanino's artwork in the small church in nearby Pisogne was fantastic! If you're looking for good food in Lovere, try the restaurant called Arte and also Caffè Caprini--delicious!

There's something in the hotel that I didn't like.

There's something in the hotel that I didn't like. First of all, I booked a room for two and then one single for my teenage daughter. And it was on booking.com. But at the check-in it turned out that "in their system" it was only one double room for one and one single room. Again, it was the same with the spa access - I had to pay extra. So, the tip for the travellers - check in advance maybe write to the hotel beforehand and check what the rate includes.

Nice little village at the top north of Lake Iseo.

Nice little village at the top north of Lake Iseo. The lake is very beautiful and much less crowded as compared to Lake Como or Garda. There are beautiful hikes from the village but the mountain path is in bad shape. The village and lake front are beautiful. Only downside is that there is no lake cruise running from this village until summer school holidays begin. So if one wants to travel across the lake, it's better to stay at any village in the middle of the lake. The village opposite side the lake, Pisogne, is very beautiful as well. In fact, even more beautiful than Lovere in my view. Overall, a good stay for a couple of days there.

This was a good value hotel with no frills. We had a room with a lake view, which was lovely. It was also set back from the main road, which meant it was fairly quiet. The bathroom decor had the pink and grey tiles shown in other photos. It looked like something from the 60s, but this was misleading as the shower was great with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Plenty of choice at breakfast - continental style.

Everything. The room was spacious. The facilities perfect. Everything we needed we had it in the room. The breakfast was perfect. The staff very nice ESPECIALLY IN THE BREAKFAST THE GIRL CALLED GARDAKKA FROM SERBIA WAS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD AND VERY POLITE. WHATEVER WE ASKED WE HAD IT IMMEDIATELY. THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL WAS PERFECT ALSO. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!!!!! NOTHING ELSE IS NEEDED TO HAVE A PLEASANT STAY.

I loved my room - Camera Romantica. The views from the window were beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The whole buding had its unique charm and you could see all the effort that the owners have put into the renovation. The host was very kind and helpful. Lovere was great to visit for a few days, you can experience both nature and culture.
