Suoerb location. It’s exactly as you see in the pics or even better. The staff are just so friendly and welcoming and the service impeccable. There’s no better place to stay on the Amalfi coast. Minutes away to restaurants and cafes and shops. It’s on the flat so easy to get anywhere even to the ferry to visit Capri, Positano etc on foot. Best thing is that it’s not crowded like the other places which gives the opportunity to really soak in the breathtaking surroundings. Definitely an imprint in our memory.

One of the nicest hotels we ever stayed in. We got an offer to upgrade to a suite when booking our trip on booking.com and we couldn’t have been happier, the room was beautiful but the views from the balcony were even better. We got champagne and a dessert sent to our room shortly after check in to celebrate our honeymoon and also got to use the on site spa which was needed after a day trip on the boat. We loved everything about our stay.

Maiori is a quieter (thankfully) seaside town along the Amalfi Coast. Its perfect for exploring the whole coastline by ferry and bus. Its also very easy to visit Vietri ( think ceramics on a major scale). You can start the Path of Lemons right in Maiori ( we did) and also visit Ravello. We did the hike to Ravello ( there's a fork in the path) and it was really testing. Although you can see Ravello, its across a valley and so the hike takes you uphill, through the mountain forests and around the valley - some 8-9 kms as opposed to the easy lemon path (tough). Maiori has everything, but its not hectic like Amalfi and Positano ( you can easily escae back home) Don't hesitate to book Maiori or Minori (around the corner) both offer exceptional value when compared. Beware of accommodation up or down flights of stairs to get there, that's what many places will do to you - carrying luggage is tiresome.

Maiori is an interesting town on the Amalfi Coast.

Maiori is an interesting town on the Amalfi Coast. The beach is big and much more accessible that other towns. The local bus service (Sita) is good except that the buses fill up and you can be left waiting for the next one and hopefully get on it. The Amalfi Coast road is amazing, winding, narrow and so busy with traffic nonstop passing with inches to spare - sometimes buses and cars have to back up to pass on some parts. The Italian bus drivers are extremely skilled - some are nice, but some are extremely mean (and I think hate Tourists)

Amazing city with very nice restaurants and great ferry connection. It was a very good decision for us to stay in a smaller city, because Maiori has a fantastic beach, it was not that busy, but we still had access to all the bigger cities on the coast.

Maiori is a fantastic town — not as touristy or crowded as...

Maiori is a fantastic town — not as touristy or crowded as Amalfi, and not as expensive as Positano. It has the longest stretch of beach along the Amalfi Coast, complete with a lovely promenade for walking. This also means there are more hotel options on flat ground, without endless stairs, and several free beaches to choose from. Another great thing is that there are fewer boats here, and the port is located away from the main beach, which helps keep the water exceptionally clean. If you want to explore the rest of the coast, ferries depart from the port every couple of hours in all directions, making it easy and convenient to visit nearby towns.

We were 100% satisfied with our stay in Maiori.

We were 100% satisfied with our stay in Maiori. It’s a great place to base oneself on the Amalfi out of the frenzy of some of the other more touristy towns which are still easy to access by ferry or bus. Always lovely to get back to the calm and the lovely long stretch of beach that Maiori offers with great swimming.

Everything was great. Annalisa is a very attentive host, she kept in touch and helped us with everything we needed. The room was perfectly cleaned on a daily basis by a lovely housekeeper. The location was great, very easy to get to and on walking distance to the Main Street, bus stop, the beach and anything else we would need, but it was also very quiet and relaxing. Maiori is definitely the best home base for somebody visiting the Amalfi coast. I would definitely recommend staying at San Domenico and hope to go back soon.

Located in Maiori, 10-15 minutes walk to the main street and beach, on a flat road, which is a bonus in Amalfi Coast. This is a great location for families with kids, as the city is very kid-friendly, overall flat with a beach playground. The apartment is nice, and it was pretty functional for our stay. The highlight is the open backyard of the apartment is a great space to relax and have your meals (just be aware of the various ants coming from the garden).

The property is just across the beachfront and it was near restaurants and port. The property is nice and the lady clean it everyday. We always go back home to a clean room. The lady was friendly, we even got a lot of welcome drinks and something to eat. It was the best decision to stay in Maiori and at this place. Tip: Make sure to take a ferry from Airport going here it will save you a lot of time. It's the best place to stay if you want to visit Amalfi Coast.
