I had a fantastic stay at the Griso Panorama Hotel in Malgrate. The stunning views of Lake Como made the experience unforgettable. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Nice view of the lake and probably the best value for money on Como lake in my opinion. The hotel is practically new and everything is just as expected: clean, comfy and cozy. Considering that the building is more than 300 years old I love how they kept many interior details untouched. Regardless of everything inside being high-tech and modern equipped, you get the vibe of the late baroque or early renaissance that come from these details. The location is perfect, there are bars and restaurants around the hotel and across the street by the lake. Also there is city of Lecco, which is a big enough city to get you anything you might left back home before your trip. And than there is Andrea, the manager of the hotel that I can't thank enough for making our stay as best as possible. We might have been high-maintenance guests at a few moments, but he fixed our “touristy challenges” like a pro :) For the last part, the one thing that will stay rooted in memories was the piano that plays music by itself. If you stay there, you should hear and see that thing playing. It's an experience for itself.

Very cozy and comfortable, new looking apartment. Equipped with oven and a big washing machine. Separated sleeping room and living room with television and dining table. Kitchen is also quite well equipped and if you need anything more, you can contact a very nice owner :) The lake is literally behind the corner and there are few pizza restaurants near. There is bakery one minute away and the closest supermarket is less than kilometre away. For tourists it is very easy to get to the trailheads of Monte Barro or Malascarpa from this location.

Pretty little lake side town across lake from Lecco.

Pretty little lake side town across lake from Lecco. Easy walk of 25 mins to Lecco centre with plenty of local restaurants and supermarkets/marts within walking distance. Free parking around area as well if happy to walk a bit to where you are staying if in apartment vs hotel

Amazing town, malgrate is quieter than Lecco but still has a lively vibe in the evening. The walk to Lecco is approximately 20 mins & there is much more to do there. The views from both Malgrate & Lecco are amazing.

Malgrate is a small town located across the southern end of Lake Como from Lecco. It is very nice and avoids the hustle of the larger cities in the area but provides convenient access to all of them. Lecco is a short walk away with ferry access to all of Lake Como.

Malgrate is horrible .

Malgrate is horrible . We really booked for the luxury of this hotel which was a huge disappointment. We thought this was going to be an amazing stay but it did not meet any expectations that was advertised through booking.com there were other ppl who spoke to felt the same but maybe they don’t complain I don’t usually I get on with it but the hot tub not working was awful

The hotel is at a very good location but the staff at reception seem not to be aware of this and how the place functions and getting around in terms of accessing the easy routes. Because every time we asked them how to go to a certain place, they will tell us that it is too far and it will take us 2 hours to get there. But when we drive ourselves we find out it's not really that far. It's like they are not familiar with the area or they lack information

Perfect location, very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was exceptional, especially the bean to cup coffee machine. Only a 20 min walk to Lecco. Plenty of places to eat right outside the hotel. View from our balcony room was out of this world.

It was very clean and nice. When we got in we noticed they left us gifts. It was a nice gesture. If I woulg go in Malgrate again, i would choose this apertment again, for sure!!
