Montalbano is a good starting point to tour the area and the...
Montalbano is a good starting point to tour the area and the beautiful contryside around. Montalbano itself is a small town that may not attract tourists for its design. However, there are nice restaurants and a small supermarket with tasty local products and a fruit and vegetable stall just outside it. Two experiences are definitely worth trying: 1. An amazing grilled meat dinner at "Braceria Mola", at very good value for money. Dining is in their back garden, so check that no rain is expected. Street parking only, which is free. 2. Not to miss in Montalbano is the ice cream and patisserie parlour, known as "Mapà Pasticceria Gelateria". One of the best ice creams ever.
