I arrived late at night due to Mille Miglia, which was no issue as they have a 24/7 reception. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient, and after a long day it was a true pleasure to arrive in a pre-airconditioned room (it was around 28 degrees that night). Details that matter. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. There are plenty of parking spaces, slightly hidden behind the hotel which gives some peace of mind. All in all a great stay!

Situated at a quiet location just outside the village this hotel offers all that we needed, a lovely spacious family suite with a wonderful central balcony, staff were great and very helpful and the breakfast was exceptional. Fantastic location too close to the motorway for travelling south the first week and returning north the second week. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area between Parma and Bologna,

A small provincial town, there's nothing scenic or historic...

A small provincial town, there's nothing scenic or historic to visit in the area surrounding the property, only bars and nowhere to walk to for dinner (except the piadina shop at the station). Given its proximity to Parma and large prosciutto and other ham-producing facilities, it's a popular destination for commercial tourism.

Montecchio is a crossroads for those who want to discover the lands of Canossa (absolutely worth a visit) or go a few kilometers to those of Peppone and Don Camillo and on the poor Po, tired and thirsty.

We only had time to see Parma, as we were just passing...

We only had time to see Parma, as we were just passing through. Parma is definitely worth a day trip! It's a beautiful little city with many sights worth seeing and charming cafes and restaurants. The city is also easily walkable for a family with small children. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Cyclists will also find plenty to enjoy.

The Staff are so nice and kind. I was stuckt in the Traffic and could not be on the time at the hotel, I have called to the reservation desk they were so nice and helpful. I shall be at hotel at 12:00 am but I could not manage. I had family and a baby I was late at the hotel but they did not make this as a problem . Especially Mr Gabriel helped us so much. If I travel one more time, I will not hesitate to accommodate to the hotel

Booked last moment as travelling through Italy. Turned up late in the evening because of big delays with ferry company. Had a warm welcome from reception who managed to get us a sandwich and a drink. The room was spotless and the hotel has ample parking. The breakfast and staff were all A1. I would highly recommend this hotel 🏨👌😄

Booked this after original accommodation cancelled on us, and we are glad they did. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, quiet at night bearing in mind it was busy. This hotel fitted the bill for what we wanted, just a short walk from the centre with a nice local's cafe bar across the road.
