A very special farm in Tuscany. Beautiful animals, nature and just such a wonderful place to visit. It was artichoke season and the hosts so kindly delivered freshly harvested crop, on top of eggs. Our kids spent hours outside with the dogs, cats, ponies, horse, donkey, chooks, ducks, geese, bunnies and even a wild hedgehog! So simple yet unforgettable.

Beautiful property, very friendly host (and cats) and excellent homemade breakfast. Our room was in a building that used to be a church, and you can still see grand wood beams. Great for quiet holidays.

Everyone here was happy doing something they loved- from the people who tended the horses to those preparing the absolutely delicious Tuscan food. This made us feel so happy and welcome. The horse riding was exceptional - the horses and country side both beautiful. The horses are obviously well loved and cared for. The village of Montieri is close by. Picturesque with very few tourists. And if you don’t want to walk or ride you can relax next to the pool.

I had such a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Very good homemade breakfast. The house itself is beautiful and serene, a hidden gem in the forest, a perfect place to relax and unwind. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the thoughtful hospitality, made this a truly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tranquility.

Montieri is a small village around 45 minutes from the train...

Montieri is a small village around 45 minutes from the train station Follonica. The hosts offered a transfer of €120 euros which we used on our return. We traveled by taxi there for around €80. We ate at the pizzeria which was delicious, pizza for around €9 euro, caraffe of wine for €5 euro, great value! We also had drinks in the two other bars which sell plates of cold meats. The village has around 600 residents, all very friendly and welcome tourists.

Tastefully appointed accommodation.

Tastefully appointed accommodation. Exceptional breakfasts utilising home grown and fresh produce. Advance notification needed if guests wish to dine ‘en family’. Although we arrived too late to experience, and needed to visit a local restaurant - judging by the quality of the breakfast, the evening meal should not be missed. A lovely rural setting - although a car advisable for access.

A small village in the upper Maremma, this is a good base for exploring the area (a few minutes' drive from Massa Marittima, Lago dell'Accesa, and San Galgano) and for getting away from it all for a few days.

The accommodation is located 5 km below Montieri and actually belongs to Prata. Opposite, 3 km away, lies Boccheggiano – both are originally Tuscan villages situated on a hilltop, offering good, friendly restaurants serving regional cuisine.

Montieri doesn't offer much, but its location is ideal for...

Montieri doesn't offer much, but its location is ideal for reaching Massa Marittima, Follonica, and other lesser-known towns. You can delve into the past by visiting the mines and discover the future with geothermal energy. The respect for the environment is admirable. In my opinion, it's an area worth exploring and exploring.

The location was in the middle of the Tuscan valley, we did three horse rides, a beginners trail and an experienced ride, which took us through the mountain ranges.We didn’t eat at the hotel but of the people we met, they said the food was good. We found a small village 5 minutes away, which had a great friendly vibe, fairly inexpensive. The pool was clean and had plenty of sun beds. A great place to relax and unwind.
