I stayed at the single room for 3 nights. It was very spacious and clean. A/C was working properly. There was a mini fridge and a kettle in the room. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were very helpful and kind. I am very glad that I chose Mandello to stay in. It was not as touristy as Bellagio or Varenna. So it was ideal to have a calm, peaceful holiday near the lake.

It was going to be our first time in Como. And we were meant to have a weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary. After spending a long time deciding which area of Como to stay in, we finally booked this hotel in Lecco, thinking we'd give it a chance—and it exceeded all expectations. The location turned out to be a fantastic one. Your window opens directly to the lake, and you wake up to an incredible view. The road in front of the hotel isn’t very busy, making it ideal for walks. Also, we had no issues at all with parking. After visiting all the other areas in Como, we were glad we booked here. The other popular spots were all overly crowded and commercial, but this place felt more local. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. Paola was a star—such a sweet lady, always smiling and helpful. The restaurant/bar downstairs seemed quite sufficient; we sat for coffee a few times and had breakfast once. We will definitely return to Como and stay here again.

This is one of our favourite places in the world:) we love Lario and all of the stuff, we had our wedding here 5 years ago and the place is just stunning as well as its amenities, food and people who takes care of the guests) thanks a lot to Lurde, Alice, Thomas and chef Luca for making our stay superb and making us feel that we are welcomed. Lovely place to stay and handy to take the ferry or bus to other places around Lake Como eg. Bellagio/Varenna. A few good options for dinner too and nice place for a swim although the weather wasn’t great when we arrived.

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures show.

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The history, location and surroundings of the place are more than amazing. This is a gem that deserves 5/5 There is a small cafe/bar/pizzaria with amazing pizzas and friendly staff. It is quite easy to get around by car to Leggo, Bellagio etc for shopping and excursions. You can rent kayaks, SUP boards etc at the cafe too.

We were very satisfied and the house was excellent. However, it would be great if it were exclusively for private use, as stated in the advertisement. But Serena's hospitality was amazing. She helped us with everything.

A charming little village on the shores of Lake Lecco.

A charming little village on the shores of Lake Lecco. Magnificent views. Affordable restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. Be aware that the road running through the village and along the lake is very busy during the day, so it can be quite noisy, but that's unavoidable; you just have to accept it.

A lovely little town, not too crowded and within a...

A lovely little town, not too crowded and within a reasonable distance of interesting sights. The two restaurants we found nearby were closed on Mondays, but Bellagio, with its numerous dining options, is a 15-minute drive away.
