check in was friendly and efficient .Stephine made us feel very welcome . She provided us with all of the information required for our stay in the area . The room was spacious and comfortable The pool area clean and lots of sun loungers . shuttle bus to the beach and into Tropea . They also provide a shuttle service to and from the train station which we didn't know when we arrived in Parghelia train station but availed of it on departure . Breakfast excellent .

The breakfast was excellent, varied, from cereals, various yogurts, spreads, egg omelettes, to Italian specialties (nduja sausage, various cheeses) and of course there were also various sweet pies. The location was also great, about 2 km from Tropea. We had a rental car, so we drove to the city every day, because it was also very hot (about 36 degrees). Amazing roof top pool with great views. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their face. I also have to praise the owner, who accommodated us and changed our accommodation so that we got an apartment on the 1st floor with a beautiful view of the sea and the town of Tropea.

absolutely exceptional location and the access of the staff was at an excellent level, everything on hand, lovely facilities - restaurant, pool, lounge, barbecue options in beautiful surroundings and helpful staff in the kitchen and at the bar, beach within easy reach - just a few steps and you are by the sea, wonderful views of the Stromboli volcano, will definitely be back.

We had a perfect stay at Villa Sofia. The accommodation was furnished to a very high standard and it was spotless throughout. We had a large double room with a balcony and views of the sea. Maria the host was very welcoming and on hand to answer any questions. The breakfast was delicious with so many items to choose from. A great location and if you fancy a break from driving, Parghelia train station is just an 8 minute walk away, with Tropea just 5 minutes and Pizzo 25 minutes by train. The local beautiful beach of Michelina is less than 15 minutes walk and well worth a visit. We would definitely recommend staying here especially if you prefer somewhere a little quieter than Tropea.

The hosts were very responsive to my message before I arrived. Francesca is absolutely lovely and provided great service. The breakfast was wonderful. The property is in a great location, very central and a couple of minutes walk from the train station. The room was great. I can't fault this bed and breakfast and I will definitely book it again.

The resort was located at a great location by the beach, access from the main street with secure gates. Was a bit hilly and sometimes difficult to walk about, but the resort has a buggy car to provide transport to those that find it hard. Rooms are generous in size depending on room. Views are fantastic from balcony. Pool is large enough and plenty for kids to do. Free use of umbrella and beach beds. Facilities are more than adequate for families and alike.

Lovely quiet little town very close to bustling Tropea. Parghelia is perfect for those looking to walk to numerous beaches, some of which are the best in Europe, such as the Spiaggia Michelino which is 5 minute walk from Parghelia. By night, Tropea is only 3 minutes drive, which is a perfect Italian town full of bars, restaurants, shop and of course plenty of history and ancient architecture. The village centre is most certainly the Bar Pepe' which offers the best coffee, gelato, drinks from 6am through to 2am in the summer months. Many activities are held in this village in the summer season, including festivals, markets and religious events. The village also offers all amenities including grocery stores, chemists and corner shops with amazing fresh produce daily such as bread and cheese from the surrounding farms. Picking up sandwiches for the beach is must! Parghelia is accessible by train from LaMezia airport and very walkable for short stays, using the odd taxi to visit Tropea in the evenings. For longer stays, renting a car is advisable to make the most of the surrounding area.

A small friendly safe place with everything we needed for...

A small friendly safe place with everything we needed for our holiday - a couple of local shops, cafes and excellent restaurants. You can walk to the wonderful Michelino Beach and it’s a very short drive into the historic town of Tropea.

Parghelia is a lovely small village very close to the touristy Tropea. In fact one can see Tropea from Parghelia. It is quiet, yet charming with a few wonderful restaurants and friendly people. Would rather stay here than Tropea. Easy to walk anywhere in Parghelia. Recommend Villino Eleonora to stay as a lovely property with a wonderful family and host, Alessandro.

A small village just minutes from Tropea.

A small village just minutes from Tropea. Touristy, it has everything you need for a week's vacation and to enjoy the sea; there are a few places to eat, drink, and get ice cream. The village can also be reached by train, although the service is a bit slow. I didn't have much trouble finding parking when I needed it.

A small town with a few restaurants and small shops. A Friday market where you can buy local produce. Peace and relaxation, a beautiful beach. If you're looking for more attractions, Tropea is just a short walk away.

Had a great time here in June! Very nice private beach that stayed almost always empty as well the pool area (slightly more busy but definitely still comfortable to relax). Very nice and quiet place if you want a calm and slow vacation. Parghelia is a small town but has some cute restaurants and veryyy nice beaches if you want to explore. Trope is very close if you want a more lively atmosphere. The staff workers were polite. Food was good. We did a couple of dinners and were satisfied with everything we ordered.

The place is very clean and it's easy to reach from the train station. Vittoria made us feel at home right away. She even lent us a beach umbrella and beach towels we needed for our beach trips. She also prepared and delivered our breakfast straight to our room every morning. There is a nice restaurant just a few metres away and we had dinner there every night. When we go back to Parghelia, we will definitely stay at Vicky's House again.

Fantastic Host and team Gorgeous Home and location. Room with private terrace was perfect. Lovely private breakfasts every morning. The place to stay if you want true hospitality. Parghelia is quiet with nice choice of bars / Restaurants Vibrant Gorgeous Tropea a short drive away. Relax on the unbelievable beaches or enjoy the many activities on offer. Grazie Alessandro for the best holiday we ever had in Italy !

Such a beatuful place on earth! Thank ypu Maria for everything. Calabria stole our heart and Parghelia and Villa Sofia also. Well kept place, excellent breakfast! Very clean and comfy room! On a clear evening during sunset we could admire Stromboli from our balcony. Magical! 🥰

The hotel has excellent amenities, and the pool, including the hot tub, is located on the top level overlooking the ocean. The place is family run and they take great pride in making aure the guests are always happy. I am definitely coming back here again. I recommend.
