We really enjoyed our stay in Asterias, they have met our expectations and even let us check in earlier as we had morning flight and also ordered a taxi for us on the day of check out as we were leaving early. The facilities has everything one would need to enjoy the stay, even the bar by the pool :) It is a 10min walk to the city center, 3mins to nearest beach and restaurants. Breakfast was served in the garden and was fresh and tasty every single day. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, as well as helpful.

A beautiful ancient town in Calabria with an ancient atmosphere, wonderful views of the sea, Stromboli and the sunset and not yet so affected by tourism. Right in the town a small but sufficient and beautiful beach, the best swimming far and wide. Excellent accessibility by train from Lamezia or Tropea (.... unless there is a strike or other outage :-o) Tartufo and ice cream at Gelateria Morino are not to be missed!! Very beautiful and refreshing are the two functional fountains in the city center.

This was our first stop after arriving from an overnight flight from Toronto. We stayed just one night before heading out on our travels along the coast of Calabria. Glad we got to experience the beauty of Pizzo, including a visit to Murat Castle and the fascinating ancient Church of Piedigrotta carved into the rocks and its stone statues. There is a nice beach in front of the church too where people were swimming and sun bathing. Parking is at the top for both at 5 euros for an hour or 10 for longer. The town square is full of tartufo and gelato shops. The seafront is lined with restaurants for dining.

Great apartment close to city Centre and beach. We only stayed one night as we were in transit to Sicily and wanted to stay and check out Pizzo. We should have stayed longer and enjoyed the beautiful clear water. I recommend you consider this apartment it is very nice and well appointed.

Accomodation was close to beach, cafes, restuarants and the central plaza of Pizzo. Pizzo is a quite but lively place without the crowds. Pizzo is locaton on a cliff so walking can be a problem for people with difficulties. Best gelato in Italy, great restuarants with seafood. We found everyone to be very helpful with informaiton. It is easy to walk around Pizzo except if you have difficutlies walking as the town is located on the side of a cliff and it is steep. Transport from the town to the marina is very expensive.

Pizzo is a lovely authentic town, the beach area is lovely but note it’s very steep and if arriving from the train station get in a tuk tuk, the roads have no pavements and quite windy- to be expected from an authentic place but if we had known we would have got the tuk tuk. Try Piccolo BBB down on the low road - gorgeous place, food excellent and surroundings 2nd to none.

Travelling through half Italy by bicycle and staying in various accommodations, this was for us the best and most outstanding BnB. Super friendly and helpful host. The rooms were spotless clean, the interior design was beautiful and stylish, well-equipped and comfortable. The views of the rooftop terrace were stunning. Breakfast was in a cafe on the main square.(coffee+cornetto)

Fantastic view out over the sea, although the balcony is shared with the other rooms/extends outwards from the breakfast area so it is not private. Great AC and the bathroom is nicely appointed with a fancy shower. The location is PERFECT for Pizzo. Easy to walk to the local shops which served beautiful food.

Excellent peaceful location really close to the Pizzo centre and the beach. Nice pool and very good breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. They also had a baby bed that wasn't mentioned in Booking which was a nice surprise.
