the setting was just perfect- a lovely stroll into town for restaurants & bars. the Villa rina cottage was so thoughtfully equipped - little touches everywhere & even a nespresso machine & capsules. just idyllic to sit on the terrace in the evening & hear the owls ! Marco greeted us with such a beautiful warm welcome & helped carry our bags to the cottage . just a fabulous stay but too short !! the views from the terrace are quite wonderful

Had a great stay at this flat. Waking up to the view of the lake every day was the best part. The place had everything we needed, and it was very comfy. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a family-friendly spot with great surroundings.

What a view! We got a room with a balcony and a view to the lake and it was worth it! The hotel was nice and tidy, the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing, obviously made with quality products. And the view from the restaurant could not be better. There was a terrace and a pool, both with a view to the lake, free parking.

    Porto Ceresio is an excellent place, especially for walking on lungolago along the lake, having a low-price and high-quality pizza overlooking the lake and enjoying the sunset. Ship and bus fares are included in the Swiss general ticket. Lack of sidewalks at times especially in the center, pay attention. Splendid Gigante shopping center has everything at low prices and good quality.

    It has the charme of bygone days, We were there only for two days, but the place still captured our hearts. Unfortunately it is a little dirty. We couldn’t go for a swim because there was too much litter at the open access beach. You see the difference once you drive a little further to Switzerland. Still a mysterious place with a hell of a lot potential.

    The house is in a quiet village close to mountains and the lake. Being in the house, we can also hear the river flowing by. The house itself is super clean and cosy. Our host also kindly shared with us her delicious home-made biscuits. The only thing I am not happy is we only stayed for one night. It has been a wonderful memory for us.

    Porto Ceresio is a lovely little town nestled in a crescent shaped bay within walking distance of a border with Switzerland. There are still a few old buildings and houses that are in dire need of overhaul and renovation but the local council is clearly investing time and efforts to improve infrastructures and local businesses and our take-away was that it's still full of potential! Best place between Ponte Tresa and Riva San Vitale for a promenade and laid back dining.

    Cute little tranquile village at the border of the lake. nothing fancy, but nice little restaurants, coffe shps and a great little bakery. A nice small promenade, bought fresh fruits at the local market. the whole atmosphere and location was really attractive. This is of course an off season impression (May).

    The apartment is incredibly charming and cozy, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. It was spotless and perfectly clean. We have never experienced such a warm and welcoming hospitality before! The host is wonderfully kind and attentive, and the homemade cookies for the road absolutely delighted our child.     We enjoyed our stay at the tropical home in porto ceresio! The flat was very clean and so beautifully decorated. We loved every detail and enjoyed the view to the lake. Kadek is so nice and kind. She even left us a farewell gift, which was really sweet. Our 2 years daughter found also some toys to play with. A babycot and a baby high chair were also available. We couldn’t really ask for more! We will definitely come back sometime and recommend it highly to friends!

    Lovely hotel with friendly atmosphere, on walking distance from the promenade and the lake. Spacious free parking, dog friendly (free), nice garden, good rooms with great shower, French balcony, good WiFi. Breakfast was nice, served outside in the morning sun. Really recommended. Very nice stay, affordable and not far from beautiful (and expensive) Lugano, Switzerland.
