upon arrival, I was treated unprofessionally by the staff and informed that my reservation had been moved to another hotel without my consent. This hotel was 20 minutes away from my original choice, and it was much older and less comfortable. The noise levels were extremely high, making it difficult for me to sleep. Additionally, I experienced severe itching throughout the night, which suggests a cleanliness issue in the hotel. This affected my comfort and well-being, making my stay completely unacceptable. I paid for a hotel that was completely different from what I originally booked, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Given these circumstances, don't reserve again due to the poor service, lack of professionalism, and the unacceptable conditions of the hotel.

It is evident that the property was a family house before and therefore it was well equipped with necessary accessories all around the flat. There were free parking spots nearby. It wasn’t a problem for us but it should be noted that the flat is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the building. The hosts were extremely kind and provided us with range of recommendations and also inquired about how we are and what would be our plans. It really felt like they were welcoming us in their actual home. They showed us around the apartment. There was minimal language barrier but this didn’t cause any problem as we could understand what the hosts were saying.

Nice little town... a bit grubby, but like so many Sicilian coastal towns... and so much rubbish on the side of the streets leading into and out of town A good selection of restaurants, a fantastic cocktail bar right on the Marina called Cellaro... highly recommend this place for Aperitivo.

Seems a more working town with port and tower blocks in upper town but there is a good brach and pedestrianised main street full of bars and restaurants , we grabbed the last un reserved table at one and watched town passagiata.

It is a good spot for Business travellers. If you travel for lesure time there is Not really anything to Do there. I went to Agrigento there is a lot to See. If you just need a place to stay for the nicht it is perfect

Montalbano fans will like to visit Porto Empedocle as there...

Montalbano fans will like to visit Porto Empedocle as there is a mural of Andrea Camileri and a bronze statue of 'Montalbano sono' in front of the pizzeria on the Main Street. When in Porto Empedocle, a visit to the nearby 'Scala dei Turchi' is a must.

Nice restaurants, good food, nice prices and nearby beach, I would avoid staying at the apartment we booked called Gocce Siciliane Apartments. Embellished photos, dirty balcony, no parking for the apartment and fridge slightly bigger than a matchbox. Glad to see, in their reply, they agree the price is ridiculous.

Its really nice and quiet while only a stone's throw away...

Its really nice and quiet while only a stone's throw away from the major attractions. It has some very good places to eat out and it is very easy to get around by foot. It does have rather un-reliable public transport connections though as well as having some areas with an aweful lot of garbage and untaken care of public areas. However this is a general problem in many parts of Sicily.

We really enjoyed out stay with Giovanna's in her comfortable rooms. The delicious Sicilian breakfast included home-made cake, eggs from her chickens and citrus fruits fresh from the trees in the garden. A good location to explore all the wonderful places near Agrigento and the coast around Porto Empedocle by car. Giovanna is a wonderful hostess who gave us a very warm welcome and many useful recommendations for things to see and places to eat.

The welcome. Our Satalite navigation got a little confused and led us astray. We walked to B&B Sicily and our host obliged by coming to our car and navigating us to the residence. Parking was very close. Very close to the city centre, bars and restaurants etc. Our host recommended Ristorante Pizzeria Mariterra where we an amazing dinner experience. Thanks for the recommendation.

Everything was perfect. The room was very beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant was amazing. We tried the pasta, the pizza… everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly. It has free private parking. It was the best hotel in our two week vacation around Sicilia

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This place was a one night stop during our Sicily road trip and it was so much better than we expected. The room is incredibly clean and the best bathroom. The view from the balcony was epic and the beach in front was my fav. PLUS there is the most delicious cake in the kitchen for guests to eat.
