Excellent stay! The reception staff were very professional and helpful, and the daily housekeeping service was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding – very rich and delicious, and included in the price. Free parking is available either directly at the hotel or in the nearby area. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located in an excellent location, 5 minutes from the center. Parking is possible on the street in the extension and is free of charge. There is an elevator, and the room and bathroom are spacious, only the insulation is worse. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a bistro on the ground floor. It is certainly recommended!

The room we got (No 2) is huge, light and airy, being newly renovated with its own independent keycode entry from the side of the building which has a river running parallel to it. The style is a perfect blend of rustic and modern with a beautiful big fireplace. The recessed lighting in it gives the room a really nice atmosphere. The king size bed and walk in shower are both fabulous, and the room is equipped with a mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine, cups and although breakfast is not provided at this B&B, bottled water, tea bags, coffee pods, a lovely individually wrapped cake from the owner's son's bakery, toasts, jams & nuttela are thoughtfully provided for each morning on the eve during Antonietta the cleaner's visit. Whatever has been used is replenished. Communication with Marisa the owner is very effective and easy and we loved chatting with her. She told us the room was previously part of a restaurant and about turning it into an additional room for the B&B. Parking is available both in front of the property and nearby for free. The cute historic town centre is only a couple of minutes walk away. We would happily stay at La Dogana again!

Everything was good. The apartment is part of a villa, you don't hear the neighbors, there is parking for a car in the yard, the train station is a five-minute walk away (an hour to Venice, an hour to Trieste too), a supermarket too. Portogruaro is a charming small town, and the villa is a 15-minute walk from the center.

Very beautiful town, friendly and helpful people, impressively clean streets, and absolute respect for pedestrians. Congratulations! In my opinion, the town just needs a good pest control because there are a lot of mosquitoes.

It's a beautiful city.

It's a beautiful city. The restaurants, and especially the ice cream parlors, are really good. And it's not very far (about 30 minutes by car) from the sea. An ideal location if you want to be by the sea but don't want your hotel right in the main tourist areas.

A very pleasant town, with a wonderful, wild beach just 30 minutes away. Good shops, delicious ice cream, and a nice shopping center with Italian brands. Gas prices at gas stations are lower than on the highway. During the day, be aware of the siesta period (1:00 PM to 6:30 PM), as the only options for lunch are at a large shopping center or McDonald's.

A quiet place without tourists, or if there are any, mostly Italian tourists. It's perfect for practicing Italian. However, if someone mainly wants to speak German, they should perhaps consider a different location (e.g., Bibione).
