Our favorite place in Pozzallo! On walking distance to the beach, very close by are some nice restaurants, a supermarket and an EV-charger. The center of Pozzallo is a bit further away, but still walking distance. Very friendly owner, the room is always clean and comfortable, the garden is nice to relax.

Small city but it has many good places. Tiki beach is Perfect to stay and eat as well. In the city center you can find shops, but not so turistic ones. They have siesta from 1-5PM so everything is closed.

We loved our beach holiday!

We loved our beach holiday! We most stayed in the neighbourhood as we didn’t want to explore, just wanted to relax. There’s a few groceries stores around within a few minutes by car and restaurants as well. We chose to cook mostly of time because of my fussy eater child but Pozzallo city center is 5-8 minutes by car and there’s quit few restaurants we could go and they were all ok. The only thing was a bit difficult is that we had 2 cars and only one stayed in the garage, the other one had to be out on the next road out of the panteneli village, as you can’t park around.

Pocallo is a wonderful destination!

Pocallo is a wonderful destination! Stunning nature, a welcoming atmosphere, and great opportunities for relaxation. The beaches were clean and peaceful, with crystal-clear and refreshing water. The locals were incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the food was absolutely delicious – fresh and full of flavor. It’s the perfect place for both unwinding and seeking new adventures. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and unforgettable getaway! 🌿🏖️☀️

Wonderful clean beach with warm water.

Wonderful clean beach with warm water. There were rinse off showers before the promenade and that water temperature was perfect. Lots of good cafes, restaurants and gelati shops. Old buildings and new, easy walking to everything as mostly flat with slight hills. Unfortunately, the train service was not running but there were replacement buses. Good little supermarkets too.

Quiet beach town with fast ferry to Malta. People are friendly and some speak a little English. It was safe and very relaxing. There is also a nice shopping strip. Recommend renting a car and exploring other cities. Great home base. Reasonable prices.

It's a nice little town, it gives you a taste of the "real"...

It's a nice little town, it gives you a taste of the "real" Sicily. That said, there's very little to do there and it tends to be more expensive than the rest of Sicily, I'm guessing because of the ferry passengers that occasionally pass through. Also, most of the restaurants are either closed (mid October), or they have erratic schedules.

The host picked us up, free of charge, from the bus stop, having caught the bus from Catania airport. Pozzallo is the ferry port to Malta and this apartment is just 15 minutes easy walk to the ferry, and just a minute from a very clean beach. The apartment has everything you could need and was clean and comfortable. Overall, exactly what we were looking for in a stop over.

We had a very confortable, enjoyable stay at Terrazza Sur Mar. The outstanding feature was the help provided by Giancarlo, the owner. He advised us on day-trips and local restaurants and even returned an item that I left in the hotel room. The hotel is very close to the ferry port and has a lovely sea view, particularly from the upstairs rooms which have balconies.

The hotel was very easy to drive to & very close to Pozzallo, ideal if arriving by catamaran late in the evening. We drove down to Pozzallo promenade for dinner which was only a few minutes drive. Great location and spacious rooms.

The hotel is literally bang in the centre near all the restaurants and the beach. Staff is very friendly. Hotel is clean and room was very spacious, albeit a bit dated. There is also a small gated private parking at a charge.
