I loved this place and wished we'd had longer there. An extremely interesting, historical site, rich in the culture of agriculture, especially rice cultivation. The accommodation was lovely with a very welcome "welcome pack" (we were very late arriving). My dog enjoyed lovely walks too.

The breakfast was very good. The home made apple pie was delicious.... uncredibly delicious ( I took a small piece with me after check out) Unfortunately the Restaurant was alteady fully booked and we coud not have a dinner ...

Amazing dinner at the on-site resturant (Bislakko); among the best meals I have had in my life! Terrific seafood (I had octopus and red mullet) and a delicious pastry as a dessert (there is a large selection of unique and hand-made pastries to choose from). Be sure to reserve a table when you stay here. The room is clean and confortable and has a nice terrace overlooking a quiet garden. The room has excellent air conditioning; although was hot when I arrived, but it quickly cooled to toom to a pleasant temperature.

Hotel Matteotti is 350 metres from the centre of Vercelli, near the SS11 state road. It offers free parking and large, air-conditioned rooms with balcony.
