Il Girasole was perfect for us. Vincenza was an exceptional host—warm, generous, and incredibly thoughtful. She took wonderful care of us and even took time out of her day to show us around the town a little, which we deeply appreciated. The home itself was perfect: ideally located, beautifully kept, and had everything one might need for a comfortable stay in a quaint Italian mountain town. We’ll absolutely be back—and next time, for a significantly longer stay—as we continue to explore family roots. Without hesitation, we’ll stay again at Il Girasole. Vincenza and her husband’s kindness left a lasting impression on us, and we’re sincerely grateful for the way they shared their time and local knowledge. As for Buccino—it’s a lovely little town, overflowing with history and charm. It now holds a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait to return.

Amazing stay! The host was amazing to pick us up and to the station and showed us around. The place is clean and quiet and close to town. The best stay we have had in Italy.

Very comfortable vacation home that can sleep up to 7 near the center of San Gregorio Magno, an 11-minute drive from the archaeological museum and urban archaeological park of Buccino/ancient Volcei. The host, Greg, was most gracious and flexible with my changing arrival time and a very helpful and friendly guy. His restaurant recommendation for the local bracceria was on-point. My favorite aspect were the fresh bananas and nectarines provided among the breakfast supplies.
