    Vens is a hamlet at elevation 1700m, in Val d'Aosta, on the Comune St Nicolas. It's high up on the mountain side but easy to find, it is very quiet and in the middle of a stunning nature and scenery. With all the wild mountainous experiences around. We hade the chance to see the "Desarpe", a francoprovençal word to picture the time all the cows are herd down from the alpine pastures to the valley where they spend the cold winter.

    Good amenities, almost all things needed (bathroom equipment, fully equipped kitchen, etc) were foreseen, the rooms are in a quite good condition and the view is very nice. Easy parking in front of the hotel.

    Highly attentive and flexible host, very competitive, budget friendly prices even at the restaurant. Able to go on several trekking tours from the hotel directly. Good car parking possibilities.

    Very beautiful place to stay, vilage is amazing, view of mountains are stunning. To Aosta or Courmayer is about 45 min by car, absolutelly worth to stay here! This town and hotel is amazing!

    Good place to stay for a short trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they didn’t speak much English but were still very accommodating in the hotel and the restaurant.
