We had a room with a balcony that almost look at the sea and it was lovely. We had a bottle of water that we could consume for free. We checked in two hours before, without any problem, and the day we had to leave the room, the receptionist told us that if we wanted we could have stay the all day as well using the swimming pool. There are so many nice things I can say in a such a short trip we had. Friendly staff everywhere, delicious breakfast, superb dinner, swimming pool and bar with a breathtaking view!

Hard to describe how beautiful this place is, and how kind Marco is. When we arrived, he just spent the night before fighting a wildfire to keep his domain safe, and still welcomed us with the biggest smile. The room was clean, the breakfast was insanely good, taken outside on the terrass. Wonderful stay, highly recommended !! This place screams tranquility, and Scopello just below is superb, filled with restaurants and not that many tourists

Well equipped maisonette in a modern villa, above the owners flat. It is in a quiet area not far from Scopello (5mins drive) and a little beach (10 mins walk). There is a terrace that's overlooking the countryside which is sheltered from rain. Full sun in the morning, in our case not ideal to sit and work on the balcony. The owner is very friendly and helpful and tried to accommodate any extra requests. He also recommended restaurants which we tried out and enjoyed. There is one double bedroom on level 1 and another large one on level 2. We choose level 2 as you had sea views through a long but small window from the bed. The rest of the house has country views. Kitchen is well equipped, you have a washing machine. Also 2 bathrooms. Outside a large table, in the garden a BBQ area. Everything is modern and new, easy to get in and out with remote control for the gate and the alarm.

Hotel Antica Casinca Del Golfo was the highlight of the trip. It was close to some restaurants with spectacular cliff and seaside views. There is also a pharmacy and market nearby. The ride to Palermo airport only took 45 minutes.

We didn't visit the beach.

We didn't visit the beach. We were resting up around our pool. We drove past it and it looked very pretty. However.... We were midweek in May (Good weather) and there were cars everywhere. Car parks charge and for a small bay/cove even this time of year too many people. I would guess peak season it would be ridiculously busy.

Small village close to the sea. Stunning scenery. A couple of supermarkets along the main road, which themselves have good restaurants. The main square of Scopello is enclosed, so there are no cars. Plenty of good restaurants, and a very pleasant and sociable atmosphere. Car parking is €4, or there is some free parking at the far end of the village, but it's not very easy to get to. There really isn't anything to do in Scopello apart from eat. The Tonnara (old tuna factory) on the coast, just a little way from the village, looked interesting. However, there is a very high entry charge (it's privately owned), and it can be closed for days at a time with no warning. In the end, we didn't go - there are plenty of photographs to look at ...

A nice place with several good beaches in the area, a Pane Cunzatu bakery, a bar with orange juce, and a few restaurants (we ate delicious pasta con vongole in the Nettuno). Unfortunately not accessible with public transport, so you need to book a shuttle from the airport. There is a bus connection between Alcamo and Palermo, but make sure to buy tickets in advance, and don't expect any taxis waiting for you in the Alcamo - better book one beforehand.

Scopello is a small village so more suitable for a quiet stay. There are no shops to speak of just a handful of gifts shops and one supermarket with pharmacy. We ate in the Square, not sure of the name of the restaurant but it had a very communal feel which was really lovely, so relaxing. I would recomment hiring a car as it is quite a rural area and things a bit spread out, not by much but maybe a 5 to 10 minute drive to the supermarket etc

Rocky Seaside with magnificent views. Steep descent to water. Not suitable for elderly people as paths to seaside dirt tracks Most seaside venues charge fee as privately owned . 10 -15 Euro. National park nearby with walks to beaches that are free with parking at a distance.

The house is wonderful, has everything one might need: comfortable rooms with AC, lots of cutlery and cooking utensils, WiFi was perfect. The sitting areas are great for dinner, a drink, chatting etc. The views from the balcony are beautiful. Daniela suggested lots of things to do around, brought us charcoal to grill, local sweets. The Scopello Market is the best food shop I’ve seen in a while with fresh produce in a separate place we didn’t see at first.

The hotel was very nice in all. Very nice and well thought hotel in an amazing location very close to the Tonara di Scopello. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful - even the owner himself! All of them were there to make your holidays as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was also very nice with local delicacies! Bonus was the very nice pool and surroundings. Recommended!

Beautiful quiet property less than 5 minutes away from the Guidaloca beach. Spacious rooms enough to comfortably fit 3 people . Centrally located with easy access to Castellammare Del Golfo, Tonnara di Scopello and Zingaro Reserve. Airport Shuttle and rental bicycle available on request. The property also offers boat and quad bike tours at a fairly reasonable price.

Our stay at La Tavernetta in Scopello was exceptional. The entire property is impeccably maintained, with spotless rooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything you need. The food is truly outstanding — every meal was a delight. I highly recommend this hotel for a perfect and relaxing getaway.
