Loved the brand new, super comfortable and modern room in the historic building, the fabulous location near famous sites, and the safe, secure building. A bonus was that there is a restaurant downstairs owned by the same family, and we enjoyed outstanding food there. There is a small shared kitchen separate from the room that has free juice, tea and coffee, very nice. In a highly walkable location, just a few minutes to Villa d’Este and Villa Gregoriana, along with being steps to tons of shops and cafes. Really enjoyed it and would definitely return when we come back to Tivoli.

Staff were amazing - Accomodating, caring and great communication All amenities and mini bar were complementary The spa bath was so large, LED lights and jets It was private and we never heard any street noise, other guests etc and the room was very dark for sleeping. The room: Everything about our room was perfect and exceeded our expectations. When we first entered we were greeted with this beautiful clean aroma and were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The room was even nicer in person than we expected! The jacuzzi was very large with a window above for fresh air overlooking the main town centre. The entire room was furnished in white and the room was spacious and felt very cozy and safe. After a long trip of travelling, we were so happy to open the fridge to see an assortment of cold beverages and a variety of snacks available to us free of charge. In addition to this, the luxury toiletries smelled amazing! Please tell me where I can get them because I took some home and I can't get enough of the cologne scent. It was such a memorable scent that I always think of our trip whenever I smell it! What I love most about this stay in particular was the attention to detail. They provided everything you could ever need, including all toiletries, robes, slippers, hair cap, etc. And everything was customized with their Domus DeCinti logo which added such a nice touch and this is something we do not usually see in Italy. The spacious rainhead shower was also something we really enjoyed. This was definitely one of the nicest suites we have stayed in in Italy and really felt pampered the entire time of our stay. We will never forget this room :) The breakfast: We received a 10 euro voucher to use at the Glam gelataria which was right next door so you don't need to walk a far distance. The location: About a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, just overlooking the main town area. We feel that this was the absolute best location in Tivoli. Just next door there is gelato/bar/restaurant with several more within less than 5 minute walking distance. What we especially loved was how lively the area got at night. Staff: Wonderful staff. Cleaning lady is so sweet!

The hotel was convenient for what we needed, an overnight stay close to the highway on our way into Rome. The staff was great, the facilities were clean, but definitely below par. Wallpaper peeling not to appealing, but again, clean, and if you're just looking for an inexpensive transit hotel, it was ok.

We were in Tivoli to see the gardens about 30 years ago and...

We were in Tivoli to see the gardens about 30 years ago and were disappointed at the disrepair into which the gardens had fallen. But, time and money has transformed the gardens and restored its once splendid appearance. Now, the water falls are flowing, fountains spewing, water squirting from statues every orifice imaginable, streams gurgling. Strolling the grounds one felt like a Roman Emperor.

If you enjoy an energetic hike, do not miss the incredible Villa Gregoriana. And Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana are also both worth the hype. Great coffee and gelato at the beautiful Bar Maurizio. Wonderful lunch/dinner at Ciocco with an unbeatable view -- and fabulous fish at Do Pescitti.

Villa d’Este was amazing and had waterfalls to rival Palace of Versailles. The walk through Villa Gregoriana gardens down the side of the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls was a solid hike and not for the feeble. Definitely take a couple of hours to visit Hadrian’s Villa (aka Villa Adriana) which had amazing historical half crumbling palace and ornamental lake.

Parking at Massimo easy to use and always spaces, underground part as well. Plenty of restaurants and cafes, Taverna Dracula and Mom's fantastic. Best foccaccia ever at cafe near the bridge. Villa D'Este, Hadrians Villa and Hercules temple all on one ticket which lasts 3 days for €30, well worth it.

Went to see the villas Gregoria, Adriana and D'este.

Went to see the villas Gregoria, Adriana and D'este. I would not recommend Gregoria personally. In a deep valley, hundreds of stairs to climb, waterfall can be seen from one vantage point as can temples. Didnt think worth the time or money. Adriana interesting because of ruins. Three different lenghts of time offered to walk but with 36 degress thought 1.5 hours sufficient. Museum a must. The one villa that I thought superb was Villa D'este from the magnificent rooms and frescoes to the water features it was stunning. Lots of rooms - off rooms so need to look around and explore each part. Unfortunately to really get the best of the garden you need to travel down to the last level to appreciate it. Best to go early morning to avoid heat.
