Vaiano is a small village in the province of Prato, perched on a small hill, easily accessible by car. I haven't visited Vaiano, but it's an excellent base for visiting nearby cities: Florence, Prato, and Pistoia.

Lovely place, with a lovely atmosphere and a friendly and attentive hostess. The hostess spoke English fluently, and when she ran out of English words her daughter stepped in and spoke excellent English. It was nice, as it can be difficult to find English-speaking hosts in Italy. Lovely and beautiful garden, in a unique location in the mountains. Requires a car and that you are not nervous about driving in the mountains.

Good location with good vibe in a small italian city with good people. Breakfast different from usual but excellent. Is better to have a car unless u like some little walk (10-15 mins from train station) and i strongly recomend to follow instructions received and not google maps when u arrive in Vaiano :))) Our host was gentle and very helpful. Very clean and comfortable ! Just to say you will be surprised.
