I loved everything about the property. Every detail was thought of and the room had annotated anything and everything you could need or want for a luxurious stay. Throughly enjoyed the enormous spa and lovely balcony. Staff were very friendly and respectful and the location was spot on. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone want a few nights in Hiroshima. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Brandnew, modern and very clean hotel with big rooms and big and very comfortable beds. Lovely bathroom with tub. Nice and friendly staff. Perfect for our family of 4. I have read some of the other reviews mentioning that the location isn’t the best but for us it was actually perfect: only 10 minutes walk from the station, not a problem at all, even with luggage. After checking in around 15.00 we took the tram to the A-bomb dome and did our sightseeing/shopping/eating. Having to leave quite early the next day it was very handy to be close to the train station. The school across the street: we actually enjoyed the sound of children playing in their short break. Fun to witness a little bit Japanese everyday life. Would love to stay here again next time I am in Hiroshima

I loved touring Hiroshima Castle and the Peace Memorial Museum. The history is very rich and enlightening. If I had more time, I would have looked for other things to do in Hiroshima and tried more of the cuisine.

We just visited for one night and one day to see the Peace Memorial Museum and Park. The museum was extremely moving and very confronting. Would recommend to anyone coming to Japan. Could have done with another day to see the castle and art museum. Suggest two full days if you have time.

There is only really one sight in Hiroshima, and it's worth a visit, depressing as it is. With a one-night stay, you should also be able to fit in the shrine on Miyajima, which is definitely worth the journey (aim for sunset).

Didn't explore much beyond the Peace Memorial Park, the Vitims memorial (so quiet and thought provoking, they have used the sound of water very well) and some nearby streets as only here for an afternoon and a morning. It certainly makes you question why atomic bombs were ever developed and affirms that they should never be used again. Seeing trees that survived the bomb, and listening to an 'in utero' survivor was moving too. On a happier note the okonomyaki is very much recommended. So easy to get around using trams.

Quiet, orderly place where the emphasis is on peace, forgiveness and rejuvenation. Was ironic to sit there and contemplate what is currently going on in the world. Amazing how much was left standing and conversely how much was destroyed. The stone marking the hypocentre is very understated. We had some very good Okonomiyake recommended from a Google maps review,in a tiny place that seated approximately 4 people but was delicious.

We thought our trip, which lasted 2 days was just about right, maybe one more day would have been good. We visited the bomb site and museum on the first day which is a must. The second day we had a trip to Miyajima island which was really worth the effort. We went over on a ferry using our Suica card which also paid for the train. We took the cable cars to the peak of the mountain. The famous temple gate in the sea was really worth seeing both at low and high tides.

We booked Mitsui Garden Hotel as it was located very centrally and looked clean with decent enough services. What we got though exceeded our expectations greatly. The staff who helped us check in on our first night were extremely helpful and friendly, and the views, overall service and cleanliness were all amazing. I will definitely be staying here again if and when I return to Hiroshima.

The staff will come to you to inquire about your needs; not you having to approach the counter. The food service is quick, efficient and flavorful. Blanc Guesthouse is a beautiful hotel in Hiroshima. The owner and staff are absolutely wonderful, very helpful and accommodating for all your needs. The beds are very comfortable and have multiple privacy blinds. The common space is large with a full sized kitchen and plenty of cooking utensils. I highly recommend staying at this hostel if you stay in Hiroshima 10/10!!!

An excellent location steps from Hiroshima Station which gives easy access to everything Hiroshima has to offer, as well as varied food options. It’s also a pleasant 30 min (approx) walk from Peace Park to the hotel, along the river/Peace Promenade. The staff were polite and helpful.

Location is why you stay here. Only had one night and day in Hiroshima. Hotel is above the Shinkansen station (no noise though) and tourist buses to all Hiroshima sights and Memorial Park is right outside the door. Very user friendly.
