The outside onsen is amazing, the lobby provides complimentary drinks at different times, the room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Garden and outdoor area to relax with a nice big pool. Spectacular views of Hashigiiwa Rocks! Very friendly staff :)

This little home is in a really neat neighbourhood and is very comfortable. We would have liked to stay longer. It's a really cool building and property. Way nicer than the photos showed.

Great location, close to the train station, beach, onsen, and there are some restaurants nearby in walking distance. Fabulous sunset view. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. We hadn't her at tje restaurant she worked for during our walk in Kumano Kodo Ohechi.

This ground floor house is in a very quiet area next door to a Shrine about 12 mins walk south of Shirahama station on flat roads. The house is lovely - staying here is a beautiful way to experience modern Japanese living. Large bedroom for two people with comfortable futon beds. Living room plus lounge room and large kitchen. Laundry and bathroom are down one end and very private. The owner is a lovely man who was happy to pick us up upon arrival and show us around the house.

I don't often give 10 out of 10, but this is one of those times. New, comfortable house - separate bedroom and kitchen. New plumbing and spacious bathroom. Washing machine. Great owner who met us when he found out we were walking along the bay and took us to the house and personally showed us how everything in the house is built.
