It left me speechless, fortunately it is still an unspoiled island that unlike Japan they should keep it a little cleaner because it deserves. You can turn it all around in the car and you can see places where there is no one. It was a really nice discovery, we would have been there for another 2/3 more days. It is connected with bridges to 3 smaller islands all to be discovered. I recommend activities such as snorkeling, dive and sup to see the splendid seabed with colorful fish, opulps, manta rays and sharks.Guest review byElenaItaly - 10.0

This has been the best island that we have visited to date very clean great beaches and plenty to see Traveling around was easy as roads are good, Sat Nav in rental car was a bit hit and miss There different colors of the sea are a must to see and take pictures We were very lucky had a BBQ at a popular beach and it happened to be a very good place to see a sunset that eveningGuest review byMorishita - 8.0

The center city is not very lively or pretty. The island is rather rural with lots of banana, tobacco, and sugar cane plots. However, the suburb areas near the beaches are beautiful. I would recommend a resort as the available activities are limited to outdoors and dining. A car is required to get around. Wonderful and beautiful place, the color of the sea amazing, many interesting sites to visit BUT you NEED a car (to rent a car). The public transportation is almost non existent (there is a bus to the airport). The island is too big for the bicycle, and too hilly.Guest review byBeataPoland

All facilities were new and clean, and it had everything we needed. The location was very good, close to everything, and we had our privacy. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality - looks better in reality than in the pictures. The only thing I can point out is that I was unable to contact anyone via Booking messages - I wrote twice, and there was no answer. Atsushi and staff were absolutely amazing - so friendly and helpful, Atsushi even took us snorkelling! The place is cozy, clean and very close to a small beach. We had everything we needed and more during our stay and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on miyako island! Obviously floor space is much bigger in this Japanese style room, we could spread our stuff across the floor. There's even a fridge so that we need not use the common fridge at its kitchen.
