A perfect little seaside gem! Everything on arrival to departure was amazing! The room was spacious and comfortable, the beds especially! Was nice having a separate toilet to the bathroom. The bath has a recirculation system to keep the water hot so you don't have to keep topping up water and is istant to heat up.. amazing. The restaurant is just gorgeous and the design and layout just looks so beautiful and makes it so cosy welcoming. We opted for a beef dinner and the hosts cooked up an absolutely amazing array of delicious dishes to accompany the wagyu beef! The amanohashidate chairlift is just behind the hotel and has great views and the ferry is just outfront of the hotel and takes you to the other side of miyazu for all the other amazing activities and you can walk back along the ocean walkway to the hotel! We cannot wait to return and cannot thank our hosts enough for such a wonderful stay! Love from Australia!

Incredible location, huge rooms and absolutely top notch buffet. We had breakfast and dinner and the food was brilliant. Didn’t try the onsen but it looked popular as many people meandered about in dressing gowns.

Location!! It's right next to the canal. You can see the pine trees and the ocean just outside the entrance. Very quiet at night, and we really enjoyed our morning walking on the beach. The closest supermarket is on the other side of Amanohashidate, so we took the ferry to do our grocery shopping (what a unique experience, haha). Accommodation is new and clean, has everything we needed for a few days' stay, kitchen, huge bathroom, separate toilet and washing machine with dryer function.

This house was simply spectacular! So much space and so comfortable we couldn’t believe our eyes when we came in! The house is located basically in front of the sea, 10 mins walking from Miyazu where you can find very nice restaurants and a supermarket and also 12 mins from the bus station to take the jus for Amanohashidate. This property is great value for your money. I totally recommend it when visiting Amanohashidate!

Miyazu which includes Amanohashidate, is one of three natural sites in Japan. The land bridge spans across the sea is fun to view from the observation points (on both sides) and you can actually bike (20 minutes) or walk (50 minutes) one way across. A small town with lots of charm and beauty.

Above all, the views from Kasamatsu Park and even higher up from Nariaiji Temple were amazing. Taking the cable car or chairlift up to Nariaiji Temple and then walking back was quite strenuous for a 70-year-old like me. I recommend taking a bus from the end of the cable car or chairlift line. For sightseeing in Amanohashidate, I recommend cycling one way and then taking a motorboat or sightseeing boat on the way back. Seagulls gather on the sightseeing boats in search of shrimp crackers, so it's a popular option for children, too.

As you know, Miyazu City is home to "Amanohashidate."

As you know, Miyazu City is home to "Amanohashidate." I was surprised that half the people there didn't know that there are two elevated areas overlooking Hashidate. A popular tourist spot is Kasamatsu Park, where buses and private cars can easily park. My personal favorite is "Hashidate View," located on the railroad side! There's also an amusement park and plenty of amenities. For lovers, I'd like to have my love fortune told on a plate on the Kasamatsu side. As for food, I recommend very large cockles, not Tango or Maizuru, but Miyazu. Double numbers are also nice, though they're only temporary. Rent a one-way bicycle from the sightseeing boat dock, go to Viewland, cross the bridge, take the lift and ropeway to Kasamatsu, enjoy seasonal produce at the base, and return the bicycle at the sightseeing boat dock. It sounds like a great route to return by sightseeing boat. What do you think? I didn't know there was a direct bus from Osaka and Kyoto.

The staff at this hotel is exceptionally professional and welcoming. We are travelers from Taiwan, and the hotel is very patient with guests who are not familiar with Japanese culture. The overall environment is clean and comfortable, and the historic building is well-maintained. The meals for one night and two days are also very delicious, with generous portions and exquisite presentation. Choosing a room facing the river offers a picturesque view outside the window.

The room was super beautiful and clean. Although Miyazu isn’t at the heart of the tourist attractions, taking a short distance bus would get you to Amanohashidate easily. There is also a bus taking you to Ine right in front of the hotel. The hotel is in front of a supermarket and near McDonald’s if you’re in desperate need for food at odd hours. we recommend going to Daimon Udon restaurant close by as this is the best udon place we’ve ever been to.

We drove to location and found I was hard to find the hotel. Also the street that leads to the hotel has a no left turn and no right turn from the main road, effectively stopping all traffic from going to the hotel. At the end a very helpful Japanese took us to the hotel and where the car park was. We're so relief because it was dark at 8pm and the street was empty. I think more instructions on getting there would be most helpful.

Historical building near Amanohashidate and Ine. This is a very old building with all the pros and cons that comes with it. The staff was welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn't get to experience the onsen but it looked welcoming. The room was massive and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The museum part was very interesting.
