If you want to get away from the crowds, this is a great place. Try to get a good electric bike. There are several bicycle rental shops, so walk around and try to find one that has well-maintained bicycles. It will make a huge difference.

Amazing beaches, truly unique place.
Amazing beaches, truly unique place. Look for the Secret point, it's worth it!
I recommend renting a car if you have limited time (we had 1 day) and want to see the whole island. You can't go everywhere by bicycle.
There is no supermarket on the island but many shops sell bentos and there are vending machines everywhere, also a very good bakery.
