All meals are good and the hostel has excellent services, we feel very warm and welcome. She knows exactly when we’re awake and come to our room to set up fire for us during this cold weather. Will refer more friends to visit!

The most special incredible stay we have ever experienced.. run by amazing hosts and staff- we were so lucky to come here and will never forget this experience for the rest of our lives. Hope to return one day soon! Incredible hospitality, cleanliness and beautiful historical home that was unique in so many ways.. felt like traveling back in time. Thank you so much for the best few days of our trip to Japan!

Wonderful location. Right next to the station, but the Shinkansen are so quiet we didn’t hear them. Easy walk to historical district. Good breakfast. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and it had a good selection.

I had an excellent sleep in this newly renovated house: spacious room, (with comfortable beds!!), wide kitchen, onsen It was in the forest, very relaxing. The host was very kind and helpful

The food was excellent! They have a garden around the hotel and they grow and farm their vegetables themselves. We had a very filling bento box dinner that was filled with amazing food. The place was clean, cozy, and warm. We'd love to stay longer if we could.

The property is facing a beautiful lake and it’s a relaxing setting for those busy people coming to decompress there. They have outdoor and indoor, private Onsen ofurô, and the room was wide and spacious, including areas such as bathroom and shower, with separation of spaces, providing privacy. The eating/working room was across from the room which allowed my husband to read and check emails without distractions. All in all it’s a well thought space setting. Kudos to the architect.
