My favourite stay so far. If you are offered sushi for dinner go for it!! It was really good, staff are nice and friendly also. Location is good (around 20 min walk from gassho houses but you can walk up to the viewpoint beforehand which is a bit earlier).

Despite not being fluent in English, all staff (the one family working well together) were welcoming, polite and helpful and were able to develop a more personal connection with guests. Enjoyed the short tour of the village by car at 3.30pm (if you check in and book by 3.15pm) dropping us drop off at the observatory so we could walk back down the hill. Great dinner and breakfast with interesting local dishes and use of local ingredients. Pleasant and interesting music with meals. Wonderful river view and interesting design of room. Lovely wooden onsen overlooking the river. Close to bus and the whole villiage. Everythibg very clean. Spring water onsen and to drink. Was worth the price.

The rooms are spacious with all the facilities. The surroundings are very beautiful. There is a convenience store just 1 minute walk which is a big plus. It is great for both short and long stays if one wants to stay from the busy life in cities.

Location , friendly parents of owner that pick me up from bus station all was clean . And organized. Definitely come back winter time . They have much to offer like excursion Kano and skie etc . Love the concept . Young and old it is nice .

Location, it is right by the bus station. It overlooks the river if staying on the river side, or you have a view of the mountain on the other side. Traditional Japanese style room and food were magnificent, and were able to cater for lactose intolerance people/people with allergies. The bathhouse was splendid having a sauna and a lot of space within. Nice lounge area, as well as they allowed luggage to be kept before check in/after check out.
