Everything was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, the breakfast every morning was always a treat and the location (right near the train station) was brilliant. The value for money is unparalleled.

The Boso Peninsula has many attractive spots, both along the coast and in the inland countryside, and it's impossible to see everything in just one or two nights. However, because it's close to the Tokyo metropolitan area and easy to get to, I think it's better to take a weekend trip of one night and two days, timed to coincide with the seasons, food, and local products, rather than making a trip that lasts multiple nights. I'd like to enjoy the area from various angles by changing my mode of transportation, such as taking a train trip on local lines like JR and Kominato Railway, or a car trip using the Aqua Line or ferry. Sodegaura may not be a popular tourist destination, but it's easy to get to by train or car, so I think it would make a good base.
