This house is beautifully designed and equipped, very comfortable and fun for the kids when they can explore every corner. The view when you have bbq at the garden at dawn… spectacular! Tetsuji-san is very helpful, informative and prepared the house so well for us. Thank you Tetsuji-san so much.

firstly, the location was great. Just 5 minutes walk from the station. Then, the hotel is new, just opened less than 6 months ago, so it was a bonus to feel like almost the first guests . The room though not very big yet very efficiently designed to supply all needs. Very nicely decorated, comfortable beds and all necessary amenities in the shower. The onsen, both private and public were amazing. At the front desk we met Virginie who was fantastic, very helpful and ready to give advice on any question. Breakfast was very good, large veriety of food, both western and Japanese, a very good English speaking waiter (at our table) and the sitting area is very beautifuly designed.

The location was fantastic. The rooms were clean, modern and minimalistic but very cozy and comfortable. The raised platform was helpful to organise luggage and warm clothes. Room was very clean. The free drinks in the lounge were a very nice touch as there’s not much to do in takayama in the evening. Restaurants close early so one has to have early dinner. So liked handing out in the lounge with drinks after a long day. Did not have the breakfast so can’t comment but the place is so well located that there are so many good options around. don’t understand why western people would order breakfast expecting western breakfast and then complain they didn’t like it

We stayed at the hotel only one night and we are very pleased. Its appearance from the outside does it no justice because inside it is new and luxurious. Excellent location, rich breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Great size apartment and really easy to find, collect the keys and check in. Incredibly helpful staff, we accidently left a sentimental item in the room and they posted it for us to our next hotel in tokyo by next day postage and we were able to collect it before we went home

Location was excellent! Lots of room for a family of 4. Comfortable beds and welcoming staff. Great option for families as our kids loved the bunk beds. Sushi bar nearby for dinner was amazing and the kids loved the French toast at a local cafe about 1 minute away for breakfast. The cedar tub was a perfect way to end the day. Wished we had stayed 2 nights!
