Everything, the room was excellent, bigger than expected. Love all the details and room quality. The amenities were fabulous. There are stairs to get to the rooms, at least for the two we were at. The owner left complimentary bread, delicious jam and bottled water. There was also information about the island, restaurants and points of interest that were very useful in the form of booklets (very well made with incredible pictures) and maps. We love staying here and would like to come back and stay longer to truly enjoy the island and the hotel. There is also space to safely store your bike if you are cycling the Shimanami Kaido. We can't say enough about this hotel

Everything! The apartment is very comfortable, clean, well equipped (has a kitchenette with all types of utensils), and has the best view to the Hakata Beach! The owners are very friendly and offered delicious welcome drink made with local citrus syrup. The apartment is a few minutes walk to the inter-island bus stop and across from the bicycle rental center, making it easily accessible. One night stay was too short... a minimum two nights would have been much better! Definitely coming back here again.

Very kind and welcoming host, who spoke great English. Beautiful quiet location on a quiet island, accessible only by ferry. Bed was very comfy, and everything necessary was provided. The place is set up like an entire house with three single/double rooms with their own locks, plus shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, so it would work great for a group or for someone wanting to self-cater. I was also very happy there on my own for a night! There's a beautiful east-facing beach five minutes away that has good shower and locker facilities.

The location was very good and easy to get around from. There is also a kitchen which is great to store food or have a snack or tea. The heated kotatsu is great too! The host is very kind too!

Extremely spacious with a large terrace perfect for BBQs. The property is surrounded by nature, with a pond and the ocean just nearby. A perfect place for relaxation after long bycicle trip.

Our favourite stay of our holiday. Wonderful hosts, a beautiful home that was much bigger than expected. The restaurant downstairs was excellent, wonderfully fresh food prepared with care.

We stayed one night as a stop on the Shimanami Kaido. It was a wonderful and relaxing place and the cottage was well equipped. Not much to do in the neighbourhood, and that was perfect for us after a day bicykling. Bring a Book or newspaper and enjoy the silence from the patio or the sofa by the window! Do your yoga on the patio! Remember to bring food, no shop or restaurant in the area. We had good contact with the owner to get keys and information but we never met.
