It felt like a dream where you travel back in time. The buildings were incredibly beautiful, but the bathroom and beds was pure modern luxury fitting with the old style of the interior. Perfect! The food was high standard and very delicious. There was lots of drinks included with the room to enjoy. We felt spoiled! And the service was amazing so sweet and careful. We will miss this place until we get back! The location is so silent it is a good place to relax but at the same time so full of history its a wonder to walk around.

The rabbits are really cute and will crowd you and ask for food, I highly recommend sitting on the floor to be as close to them as possible. The breakfast and dinner in the hotel were amazing.

I loved staying in a traditional house with its own bath. I stayed there before going to rabbit island. It was very relaxing to be away from the big touristic places. The owner was very nice.

Breakfast was very good. I enjoyed local foods. A variety of Japanese cuisines are available, and all of them taste good. Although the hotel is located near the airport, I had no noise in the room. It is very quiet.

This hotel was superb! Every detail was well thought through and beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortable, we were able to park our bikes in the room. The staff was very helpful and accomodating, the breakfast was good, and the onsen lovely!

Great location with beautiful clean and tidy rooms with amazing views. All set up perfectly to cater for an overnight stay when cycling the Shimanami Kaido. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. Yummy croissants and coffee for breakfast. Would highly recommend staying at WAKKA. Perfect for our family of 5. We hired WAKKA’s e-bikes and used their service to forward our luggage. It made cycling a breeze.
