A simple cabin with everything provided. Shino is helpful, and knowledgeable on Kumano Kodo trekking. She provide us insightful information, and it did help alot. Her café is located nearby bus stop which is very convenient for us to catch the bus right after the breakfast. Not forget to mention about the meal provided, yummy and delicious. Shino also help us arrange for daily luggage transfer, and very responsive on any issues arising. Kudos to Shino.

Very nice host and convenient location, which is just next to a bus stop. The room is big and clean. And it’s an interesting experience to stay in a tatami style room. In addition, there is wash machine and dryer in the hostel, so it is really helpful for the hiking travellers. The river view is very nice. Morning walk around the area is refreshing.

The staff were incredibly generous and assisted you with anything you need and checked in on you before they left for the night. The beds were so comfortable and bathrooms were super clean and great water pressure. Perfect stay if you are stopping in during the komano kodo walk.
