It was sooooo good! I have never stayed in a cleaner hotel, it was pristine! The bed was super comfy and the TV had streaming services and lots of channel options. I liked the marble surfaces in the room with the wood parts, it was really chic and fancy! And BREAKFAST!! It was to die for, so many options both Japanese and western. I just kept getting up getting more to my plate. Also the little notes next to the foods were really helpful, especially if you are interested in the Japanese cuisine. All in all we liked it so much that we came back stayed for another night at the end of our trip. It is also very close to the airport, just one stop and the subway station is literally in front of the hotel. There is also a pharmacy and currency exchange atm and coffee shop nearby (2-3 minutes) walking distance.

The hotel location is very strategic, just opposite the Shiomi Station and easy to catch train to town. 20 minutes distance to Haneda Airport by taxi. Nice and comfortable room. Very clean, modern with great attention to detail in room design. Rooms have good very good storage space, under beds, in drawers, some hanging space. Bathroom has 3 towel bars + hooks, the most I’ve seen in any hotel! Beds, pillows, very comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchenette, washer- dryer and the self service coffee bar, towels and amenities. We stayed 9 nights, room cleaning done every 3 days which work very nicely. The staff is very nice and helpful. Thank you for the room on a high floor. Will definitely return.

Most of the staff at the reception spoke English. They are very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious for a family of 4. The kids loved their bunk beds. I liked the layout of the room and having the mini kitchen and dining area was great. The entire place was clean, they changed towels everyday but the sheets was only changed on our 4th day. They had complete amenities and you can borrow stuff such us oven toaster, speakers, etc. It was walking distance to Kinsichio train station and the other subway. Close to Parco mall where you can do some grocery, Muji store and KFC.

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

I was completely impressed by how clean and efficient Tokyo is. Also feeling safe in such a large city is rare it seems. At this time, the dollar is strong compared to the Yen, which made this trip a great bargain. Driving in Tokyo would be extremely daunting, no need. The metro system is outstanding. If you like Japanese food (The Tsukiji Fish Market for example) you will enjoy Tokyo even more.

Tokyo is one of my favorite destinations.

Tokyo is one of my favorite destinations. The city is amazing. The food across the range of cost brackets is amazing. We come once or twice a year, and there are always new places and events to visit. There is never enough time to do it all. The business staff are invariably polite and helpful. We can reach many other fascinating and beautiful places in Japan easily. The train system and reasonable taxis make getting around very easy. Team Lab is amazing and provides a variety of experiences. The Harry Potter studio experience is amazing.

Tokyo is wondrous for culture, shopping, eating.

Tokyo is wondrous for culture, shopping, eating. The streets hum, the lights color everything. It is tourist friendly. Trains announce stops in English. Directions are explicit. Like most of Japan, I feel safe walking even at night. If anything the choices, the neon, the hordes of walkers on streets, the signs can overload the brain. BUt this is what makes Tokyo Tokyo.

Plan your trip in advance but leave some space to just explore. We had reserved a couple of excursions, definitely needed to reserve TeamLabs Planets ahead of time. Reserved a few restaurants, if you have must do sights and/or restaurants be sure to do that in advance. There were some restaurants to reserved either the day before or day of & that was fine. Some restaurants did not take reservations, so you would have to line up. Be ready, there always seemed to be lines for a lot of restaurants or tip is go when or before it opens. Enjoy Japan, it is unlike any place on earth & we hope to return again someday soon!

The location is really good, although it is a bit downhill, but it wasn’t big problem. It is 8-10 min walking distance from the main station in Takanadobaba, which is great because it has cheap lines to Shinjuku and Shibuya. Also there is a lot od restaurants near, and 7/11 store right next to hotel. In room you get 1 toiletries per person, 1 big towel and 1 small. We also got hairdryer, microwave, water boiling, little kitchen with sink, small fridge. Also TV bur we didn’t even try to use it. Air conditioning was also ok.

The staff are fantastic and so welcoming. They helped us with multiple things during our stay and their kindness was really appreciated. The room was good and had everything we needed. The location is really fun in Akabane with lots of Izakaya's and restaurants walking distance from the hotel. You are also only a short ride on the JR lines to all parts of Tokyo. Get yourself to the Koenji and Shimokitazawa areas as they are great fun and not full of tourists like Shinjuku and Shibuya.

Stayed twice at this hotel during my holiday. The first time the room was on the small side, but on my second visit, the room was slightly bigger. The rooms were quiet. Breakfast had a good variety of food, although it was predominantly Asian, but there was some Western food. There was a great rooftop bar, with fabulous views of the city, with a happy hour each evening. It was around a 15 minute walk to Shinjuku station, which was a bit of a bind every day.

It's a different hotel capsule, surrounded by books. It has a pleasant hub. As expected, you don't have much space inside the capsule to put bigger bags, but below the capsule, there is luggage room that fits the biggest trolleys. The hotel is located inside the main streets of Shinjuku, close to the main station.
