Friendly staff , one of the staff saw us unloading tons of luggages. The bring the cart over so we could bring it up our rooms easier . The hotel right next to a highway rest centre , lots of local produce and specialty items to buy. I think it opens early too. I love the bathroom mirror can be turned around. One of us can brush teeth, while the other do make up without fighting at the sink area for the mirror.

We loved the location this hotel is right next to the Kameoka station only a 30 min ride to Kyoto and 15 mins to the Bamboo Forest-Saga Arishiyama station. Perfect and beautiful in the mountains here. We loved it!

We stayed because it's close to Sagano Romantic train station which we do the ride and some travel in Kyoto then took the train back to station and got the car drive to the hotel. So the location for the plan is really good. Staff is really good and helpful. The young lady at the counter can speak English very well. Building and all facilities are new and great. Breakfast is simple yet excellent. Also there's plenty of parking lot which charge you just little bit extra which is totally fine.

Our entire stay was beautiful from beginning to end. My partner and I travelled across Japan for around two weeks, and this might have been our favourite place to stay. The location, the staff, the room and the meals were exceptional. My favourite part were the facilities and the kindness of the staff. I have never felt so welcome as a customer and as a guest! Every course of our evening meal was visually stunning and delicious!

This Ryokan was beautiful. The location was breathtaking and I highly recommend staying here for a night or two! They offer a shuttle bus from the local JR station to the property which was really helpful, just ensure you let them know beforehand. The staff were lovely and respectful. Dinner was an experience like no other. I had let them know a few days prior we were vegetarians and they were more than happy to accommodate. The roll out futon’s were actually more comfy than expected!
