The hosts are really really kind! The hostel is just in front of the Mitsumata resort. You can also buy cheaper tickets here. And the meals they prepare are delicious. I enjoyed my stay here, and need to learn Japanese and come back again:)

We travelled for our anniversary and were upgraded to a mountain view room and it was everything you could ever imagine! The view was something out of a movie 😍 and the room was nice and spacious. The location was great, not far from the train station and the town is small enough to get around

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Good Day. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived in Yuzawa, we discovered that our ski field, Yuzawa Nakazato, was closed due to the warm weather. The owner assisted us multiple times, giving clear advice on the best way to reach alternative ski fields, which made a big difference for our trip. The hotel itself is conveniently located just two train stops from Echigo‑Yuzawa. There is also a restaurant inside the hotel, and the food was very good. Our family enjoyed our time here. Thank you again to all the staff for being so warm and welcoming.
