From the 5-star (is there such a thing as 10-star?) cooking to the comfortable bends and cozy atmosphere of family life, Macedon's house is just the place to be. I would travel to Kyrgyzstan again just to visit them. You will be so happy you stayed here. The only thing to be careful of: you may end up leaving a few kilos heavier because you won't ever want to stop eating.

We arrived in Tamga a day earlier than planned. Farida and Abdybek were happy to accomodate a last minute booking. The room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely view of the garden. Not much English was spoken but our hosts made a big effort to use Google translate and it was fine to communicate. The family made us feel welcome, and after an excellent breakfast the next day, Abdybek drove us to see the waterfall!

The host family were great! The mum was very welcoming and she made tea for us instantly as it was very cold outside. She also offered us freshly made bread and home-made raspberry jam which was delicious. The dorm room was already made up, very clean and comfortable. The whole place just had a very nice, family vibe to it. In the morning she made us Aromo (Kyrgyz dumplings) and more bread and tea. We felt really lucky! Her two kids were so cute too.

The property is very very new and nice and clean. Our nicest stay at Kyrgystan to be honest. The little cabin is very very well equipped, water pressure and temperature was perfect. The house is well heated (from the floor). Bed is comfortable. The host was responsive and provided us with all the things we needed, blankets, wifi, etc. You can see the lake from the room. I really really like the design of the cabin, the utensils, bathroom, couch, bed were all wood color and beautiful and pleasant.
