One or even two days to see local artisans (potters where you can try your hand at it), weaving, bamboo basketry; floating villages: not as good as those near Siem Reap. Only worth doing if you haven't seen the others. Very expensive. Few interesting restaurants. Few tourists, which makes it authentic, and a pleasant walk to the stilted houses.

I dined at street food restaurants in the river villages. You have to adapt; travel is quite manageable. I'm traveling alone with an adult daughter. It doesn't seem like a suitable place for a family with children. It's a place worth visiting to experience the real Cambodia, but it's not for everyone.

It is remote but everything you need is there. The staff were wonderful, and we must have hit a quiet time as we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Very relaxing and a good stopping point on the way from Phnom Penh to Battambang. The hotel picked us up from our hotel in Phnom Penh which made the trip into the countryside easy. They also arranged our onward transport to Battambang. Nothing was too much trouble. The support this hotel and complex provides to the local community is to be commended. Excellent bathroom.

Well thought out hotel with a gorgeous garden, nice touches like lighting a mosquito coil outside to allow to sit outside in the evening. Bike rental. Peaceful hotel, nice breakfast options nearby and not far into town. Free pick up from the bus was a bonus.
This is a nice town to visit to see a quieter side of Cambodia - the floating villages have been moved to the land but there is exploring to be done and we enjoyed cycling around - nice place to stop on the way to Phnom Penh

The best thing was the lady who looked after us.
