The hospitality and the welcoming approach of the owners. The bar was literally a living room were all the guests shared time and stories. The beach hut was beautiful and in the perfect location for an amazing sunset. The seaside unfortunately wasn't the best but we knew already (monsoon season).

Not only was the property in the heart of the jungle but also ran by the kindest staff we have ever met. The accommodation was unique and luxurious. The meals were delicious and thoughtful. We especially enjoyed the adventurous hiking and waterfall tours. On top, knowing that the resort is fulfilling a meaningful purpose for nature and good causes (supporting locals /-projects) is the reason it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Rainbow Lodge is a really special place. The entire experience felt thoughtfully designed, from the peaceful setting to the well-run and genuinely enjoyable excursions. We did the long trek and Mangroves tour, both of which included beautiful landscapes, great pacing and lots of interesting insights along the way. The surrounding nature is incredible, we even saw an owl on our first night! The staff also deserve a special mention as Gee and Pirom are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help. The food was another highlight - delicious and generous portions. I’d definitely recommend Rainbow Lodge to anyone looking to explore this part of Cambodia. The natural unspoilt beauty and tranquility, the clean freshwater river to swim in, the comfort and gorgeously creative style of the buildings, the ecological efforts, the kindness and friendliness of the staff (especially Bun who is an Angel l!!), free kayaks, a nearby waterfall to kayak and swim in, swimming from our front porch, the amazing food, the price, absolutely everything! Thank you again Bun, you made our stay so amazing!

Outstanding Location! One of the gems of Cambodia and Tatai river. The wildlife is endless and there are several treks and waterfalls very nearby. Quiet, tasteful, respectful with the environment and clean. The staff is adorable, knowledgeable and helpful (special mention to Dam and Pich ♥️) An authentic jungle experience!
