I am so happy that I booked this place, it’s more like an apartment than a hotel and I felt really at home here. It was so peaceful, overlooking the mountains, with a huge balcony and really light and airy inside. It’s brand new, opened last year and everything is spotless and really well thought out, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. All the staff are wonderful and the breakfast every morning was like a cultural experience in itself. Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Luang Prabang. We also had our laundry done here and they rented us a moped for the whole stay at a very good price. It’s run by a hard working and honest family, and they are wonderful hosts and all around lovely people. I would book this place again in a heartbeat if I ever come back to Luang Prabang!

It is an amazing place. Nestled up in the hills above Luang Prabang, surrounded by trees. A quiet place with a swimming pool, a sauna, and a garden. The rooms are nicely located in the garden. Where to begin. AMAZING!!! We would have stayed forever if we could have. This was honestly everything we could ever ask for accomodation wise. To date, the most stunning property and accomodation I have had. The value for cost is insane. Every little detail was thought of, words cannot do this property justice. Our hosts, Frederic and Onh cared for us so well. And the food!!!!!! Michelin star worthy. Came for one night, stayed for 4. All I can say is… do yourself a favour. Book at least a week. Sit back, relax, order all your food here. There is no reason to leave in our opinion.

We had a fantastic stay at Rosewood. We were able to experience this wonderful place for a longer time (6 nights). The staff was absolutely exceptional and made this stay feel like a second honeymoon. The place in itself is heaven, and all activities we did were top notch (the Mandalao elephants, the city tour and the sunset cruise). The room decoration and architecture from Bill Bensley are wonderful. We want to extend our sincere thanks again to the team for all these efforts to make this trip exceptional and for their kindness.

The staff made our stay out of this world especially Oscar and Pansa. From the moment we made our booking they bent over backwards to ensure our every need was met. As they all waved us off when we left we had tears in our eyes. The location was great. Although 7 minutes out of town the hotel provides free shuttle runs 3 times a day. It is on the way to the Si Kuang falls and other tourist spots so very convenient for sightseeing. And of course being out of town it is oh so tranquil. The pool is large if a little cool so a great place to relax. Although it does not have the facilities of other 5 star hotels the price is considerably lower so it is great value for money.
