I enjoyed that everything was in walking distance. The local people are very nice and helpful. The local food was delicious, and the environment was a relaxing atmosphere. If you get lost any local would help you with directions or even take you to your destination. Pakse had many Buddhist monuments that you can walk into and explore and take pictures. I loved the zipline over the Tad Fane Waterfall.

Pakse is probably one of the most beautiful places with really incredible people. We rented a bike, it was safe for us there are not many cars on the road and the ones on scooter drive safely. We rented the scooter via the hotel, drove the waterfalls and all around Paske.The have a great market, really good . restaurantsGuest review byDan - 4.0

Pakse is a small, dirty town without a clear center. Few good restaurants, and few people speak English. You have to have a scooter to get anywhere. There are interesting places in the area but not many of them are properly developed. Rather, their best years are behind them. I was treated like family, we even shared dinner together, where I got to try authentic Laos cooking The staff are amazing people. The room was so comfortable and big, the shower had hot water. The communal area was great for meeting and talking to other travellers. The property has a good colonial-style ambience, and is reasonably well maintained. All the staff members are very cordial and ready to help whenever needed.
