A highlight was the sweet gesture of the kunafa crepe, a delightful treat😋.The hotel's amenities were fantastic, and the room was both comfortable and clean with a stunning sea view. The room had a view on the Crusader's castle. The staff was available to help, kind, with humor and curiosity. They also did help to find a taxi back to Beirut for $ 15 instead of the $ 30 demanded by a driver I took to go to Jbeil. This guy, named Paul, was a bit too much: he exacted $ 25 to go to Jbeil while the current normal rate is $ 10, and he even boasted to be the cousin of the hotel's owner. L'Abeille d'Or, a shop on the same street, sells delicious Lebanese sweets, ;ast but not least the knefa (kunefe).
