The best part of this hotel is the hospitality we were welcomed with. Once we arrived, we were given a room next to the reception area. We conveyed our concerned that the room might be a little bit noisy due to its location but yet we happily settled in the room. Half an hour later, we received a phone call from the manager who expressed her will to upgrade us to a suite upstairs. We gladly accepted and this really meant a lot. To top it up, the lady refused to let us pay for the 2 beers we took from the minibar and said it was on the house. The breakfast is another thing to talk about. It is exceptional! (See pic) In short, the place is great for a relaxing stay and it is very close to the Barouk cedar reserve, which you can have a very beautiful hike in.

What a beautiful BEAUTIFUL place! A haven in nature right below the cedars in what is probably the most beautiful part of the Chouf The panorama of the mountain from the exquisite colourful garden is gorgeous, the interior design is so elegant and funky, a rarity in hotels at this price range. The spa was a great addition compared to last year (cold plunge, sauna, etc...). People working here are SO nice... So genuine... I was really impressed again! Will come back this summer with the kids and use Al Fundok as a base to explore the region with them

Amazing experience, very calm, super friendly staff. Very caring and hands on owners, approachable and very helpful. They make you feel home. Perfect location overlooking Beit Edine palace and a beautiful view of the mountains, perfect choice if you are attending Beit Edine festival, 1 min walking distance to the entrance. Highly recommended.
