The room was spacious and very clean. The hosts were very kind. The gentleman from the Cabanas guide us all from the town. Then fresh flowers were placed all around. Worth for the money. Calm and quite peaceful environment. Recommend for couples.

This is easily one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I've stayed at. Recently renovated, no expense has been spared to bring the Colonial mansion back to life. The attention to detail is remarkable. All the services are extraordinary and if I ever have a special occasion in Sri Lanka it will be at the Grand Walawwa.

We made a last-minute booking and were lucky to get the Sky Villa – a true gem and hidden treasure! The view was absolutely breathtaking, with a private jacuzzi pool and an unbeatable sense of privacy. The service was exceptional, with staff operating at the highest level of professionalism. Totally worth the price. The feeling of being on top of a giant rock is indescribable – truly unique! The room was brand new, and we learned the hotel only opened three months ago. Rosyth Estate is a wonderful little hotel in the middle of nowhere. The team was extremely welcoming and did go above and beyond, even though we only stayed there for one night. Special kudos to the best chicken curry we had ever!

Recommend this hotel strongly - it is a quiet, cozy place with a unique local atmosphere. Personnel was proffesional and friendly, as we arrived late in the evening they arranged for us a delivery from a near by shop, which was lovely. The room was very clean, with a nice and calming view - as we were the only guests that day, we were offered a free room upgrade.

We left this hotel with a great impression. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. We were traveling with a child and lots of luggage, and they helped us store everything and checked us in earlier than expected — which was a big help! Our room was clean, spacious, with perfect air conditioning, and a balcony overlooking the river and jungle — with so many elephants in view, it was amazing! The staff also helped us arrange a trip to the nearby elephant village, which was truly unforgettable. For families with kids, I highly recommend this place. There’s a separate pool for children, and the restaurant staff were super friendly, always happy to prepare and heat up meals for our little one. Overall, we felt very well taken care of — thank you for making our stay in Pinnawala so comfortable!
