I was really impressed by the accommodation here - it is very modern and kept spotlessly clean. The facilities are excellent, but what makes this place special is the incredibly caring and helpful staff. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, making the service feel very personal and attentive. A special mention must go to Vihan, who was so friendly and really made my stay even more pleasant. Beyond the great hospitality, I loved the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the villa - waking up to the sounds of birds and nature was a wonderful bonus that added so much value to the experience.

The staff and the owner was amazing..she took care of us..and went all the way and beyond , amazing food options, clean acxomodarion , great value for money! This is an absolutely well-deserved, honest 10/10. Views from any spot, rooms, food, and especially the hospitality of all people in Elegant Hotel were superb. I have never felt this level of care in a hotel before, every ask was addressed, though there was barely anything to ask about. I've stayed in the Deluxe and Presidential rooms, both are more than enough for a good stay - fumigators, adapter, water, kettle, tea, toiletries, and more. Wifi was fair and good enough to let me work remotely, the only thing is that wifi speed slowed down after like 20min of a call so during conferencing I sat in the hallways where connection was same level good all the time. Delicious food, huge portions. Again, the people! And especially the owner of the hotel who frequently inquired about my stay and offered so much help and even took me to the railway station for my early train. Last but not least, Presidential room. I do recommend to try at least for a night bc the views are 360, from both terraces, and it's unforgettable! I'm attaching photos of the Presidential room and just one photo of a sunset from Deluxe bc I've already deleted other photos of Deluxe, however I've enjoyed staying in both rooms. The ambience, the nature and the staff made my stay just perfect. Many thanks to everyone in Elegant Hotel! This is a place that should be graded real stars for the quality and attitude!

This was probably my favorite place in all of Sri Lanka (and we we're in Sri Lanka for over 3 weeks). The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the views were stunning & priceless. They had a gorgeous Infinity pool that overlooked the mountains. The staff were amazingly kind and helpful. There were only a couple of drawbacks. First it is very difficult to get from this property to Kandy. Cars and tuk tuks are very expensive and it is at least a 45 minute ride. Second, the infinity pool does not have any coverings and sits directly in the hot sun. They do have some small umbrellas you can use, but for most people it is simply too hot to enjoy the beautiful pool and views during the day. It's surprising as I don't think it would take too much to create a partial covering for the area. I must reiterate, however, that the property overall and the views are absolutely amazing. The food was also well prepared and well priced. If you stay here, I would highly recommend planning at least one day on the resort. You will be blown away by how beautiful and luxurious it is for the price!

Clean, spacious house and pool terrace, in a quiet area, not too far from the green university campus and Peradeniya Botanical Garden. Very good and large Breakfast and Dinner as to my wishes. Manager Siran was courteous in any way and especially made lots of phonecalls to fullfill my wish for a train ticket despite trains were booked out for the next weeks.

Beautiful welcome from Kamal, he guided us from the town so we wouldn’t get lost. He made us dinner and a wonderful breakfast. Such amazing hospitality! He even gifted me some fresh and dried pepper that he’d grown himself. Thank you again, I’d love to come visit again next time I’m in Sri Lanka and enjoy the beautiful view from the property and the pool again.

The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.
