Simply the place to be! Amazing stay. The Room is spacious super clean, braight, with all the conforts you need for the best stay. Amazing huge bed, clean and fresh bed sheets, toilet is very functional pressure of the water is top. The Position is idelally, in a peacefull garden, just 10 min walk to Clock Tower. The owner with her daughter and all staff are super nice, smiling, professional, and welcoming.So nice to be there. I had a beautiful moment. Last but not least, the amazing breakfast. Super good, fresh, and copious according to your needs. You enjoy the breakfast in the peace of the garden.

So beatiful and calmly place. Lake area is gorgeous and the view is stunning. Staff is helpful and friendly in every way. We booked at first only one night, but the we extended for 3 more days. Rooms were quiet big and comfortable. Clean and the food was ok, but not that special like we got in the rest of the country.

We stayed two nights in there,it was amazing ..we had warmly well come with fresh sour sop juice.every breakfast had lokal curry with some lokal varieties also porridge. They arrange sunrise tour and elephant safari in minneriya national park.sorround sight seen can be cover from this place with sort distanced. Highly recommendations for any other people around the wold. Massive thanks for golden eco ayur villa

I stayed at a hotel in Summerset for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The service was excellent—staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. Even though it was a short stay, everything met my expectations. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-serviced hotel in SummerSet.

The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a perfect space to relax after exploring Dambulla. The hotel’s atmosphere is peaceful and charming, with a great balance between modern comfort and natural surroundings. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the service. We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from...

We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from Adam's Peak!) but instead chose the much shorter Pidurangala which afforded a fabulous view of Sigiriya. Highly recommended. A visit to the Bawa hotel, Heritance Kandalama, is well worth it as an insight into the brilliant architectural mind of Geoffrey Bawa.

Dambulla is an excellent base for exploring Kandy, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya. We stayed there for 4 Nights and could cover the heritage sites easily. Dambulla Caves are a must-see and so is Sigiriya (just 16 Kms. away). Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are around an hours drive but Dambulla is much well-connected and less touristy.

I loved everything they have amazing vibe, nothing was to much trouble . All staff kind and helpful. Dambulla is quiet but has local shops, cafes Pizza Hut, great small restaurant a few miles from Evergreen serving very good food. It's run by the people who run Evergreen. So recommended by me.. Anything you want to do or go and see will be arranged for you Tuk Tuk guy is a staff member . If you need car/driver it will be arranged.

This is a really nice place. The location is amazing if you want to visit Sigirya, Pollonaruwa and the cave temple in Dambulla. The place is very serene and relaxing, my room was spacious, very clean and quiet. The homemade food is the best food I had in Sri Lanka, you HAVE to get dinner here. The family is really polite and helpful. They picked me up from the airport and drove me everywhere with their tukuk while I was there. The rates for the trips are okay, you will probably not find much better prices on Pickme.

Kalundewa Retreat is nestled into rice paddies and conservation areas for bird and other wildlife. It operates a mushroom project and uses herbs and vegetables from their own organic gardening facilities in their culinary delights (the Sri Lankan curry breakfast is worth savouring). A large cauldron of Indian flying fox (fruit) bats, local resident at the retreat, can be observed and enjoyed at full flight at dusk - a worthwhile spectacle.

Nice stay at Sun&Green with Gayani. The place needs a little improvements and refreshments but we had a nice time with the swimming pool, settled into a lovely evergreen and flowery garden. Big shady terrace to enjoy. We didn't know at the time but Gayani offers tasty sri lankan food if you ask her. Good location if you want to visit Dambulla, Sigiriya and around. (main road but outside center town)

Maybe our best stay in Sri Lanka. The room and the property were beautiful, breakfast was fantastic, and - above all - Sanjee and Madhu were so extremely kind and helpful. If you are looking for a hotel in Dambulla, stay at Simoya.
