A gem of a place surrounded by beautiful gardens, offering us peace, relaxation & superb food all of a high quality. From the moment we arrived and were led into the tastefully decorated reception, dining area & offered a cooling coconut drink we found the attention to detail & service was exceptional especially from Prasanna who looked after us so well. Walking around the gardens, we admired the many fruit trees, their organic vegetable garden, and the lovely spa area was a haven of peace, where we enjoyed some Ayurvedic massages. The food choice was varied, excellent and always some delicious fruits for breakfast from their gardens like 'Soursap' It was a memorable visit. (Nearby just outside Weeraketiya was the ancient Mulgirigala Raja Maha Temple, well worth the climb to see the sunset)

Wonderful Stay at SithRu Villa – Highly Recommended! We originally planned to stay just 2 nights at SithRu Villa in Matara, but we ended up extending my stay to 4 nights because the experience was so great! A special thank you to Mr. Mangala, the manager, who made my stay truly enjoyable. He was incredibly helpful and kind – he arranged a van with a very nice and reliable driver so I could explore Matara and the surrounding areas comfortably. It made a big difference in my trip. Mangala also helped me order delicious breakfasts and dinners, which I really appreciated. The food was tasty and freshly prepared, and the service was always warm and welcoming. The hotel itself is clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing – a perfect escape from the busy city life as I live in sjngapore with my family . If you’re visiting Matara, I highly recommend staying at SithRu Villa. The hospitality and service, especially from Mr. Mangala, made this one of the best parts of my trip. I’ll definitely return again!

One of the most friendly hosts in all Sri Lanka. The bungalow is beautiful located and well taken care of. Everything was very clean. My girlfriend had birthday while the stay and the host arranged a surprise for her - really really nice. Would come here definitely again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful lodgel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The host Buddhika is a very gracious host, we were able to see his tea fields and were welcomed in his house, he even made us homemade drinks and talked about the different kinds of plants in his garden. The pick up service was excellent and he helped us to get on the right bus. The two cottages are very beautiful, equipped with everything you need (best ac so far in Sri Lanka) and have a very peaceful view of the lake, in a short walking distance is a spot to swim. It’s near the street, which you can sometimes hear. Buddhika prepared very delicious dinners for us and provided everything we needed and more whilst being respectful of our privacy. We took a trip to sinharaja national park (1h by car and then 3-4hours in the park with a guide) for a very reasonable price and again Buddhikas service was exceptional! On the way to matara we wanted to buy some tea and he took us to his family’s factory and we got a free tour and an interesting tasting. All in all we had a great stay and a very peaceful and calming experience!

The villa is well laid out with all required facilities. It's clean and tidy. The owner was there to receive us and to handover the property. He is very plesent, friendly and corporative. We had full prevacy, comfort and all the freedom. The most liked pat was that the owner allowed our pet dog Labrador to stay with us. Our Labrador was the most enjoyed and thrilled out of all of us, as the dog enjoyed the garden freely by playing and jumping in to the pond in front of the property. The facilities are luxurious and entire property is equipped to satisfy our full expectations.

A beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and stunning sea views. You’re right on the beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful — nothing is ever too much for them. The owner’s son even personally took me to the hospital. Always smiling, such a warm and welcoming place. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The restaurant also serves delicious food. It’s only a 4-minute drive from Hiriketiya.
