Great hotel and lovely people! Really good rooms - very clean and well equipped, especially good air-conditioning. Very good pool too. Great location between the two beaches but in a quiet and relaxed area. Very kind and helpful staff.

Beautiful brand new rooms / modern, very spacious!! Great aircon, and fan and balcony. Staff were truely the highlight of this stay. They organised a bike to rent, the safari trio Yala and someone to take us to Ella. We loved that driver so much we used him for the rest of our trip! We also struggled to find a currency exchange in Sri Lanka, but they organised someone to come the hotel and rate was unbeatable. Anything we asked, they were SO happy to help and did it so quickly. They were so friendly and welcomed us so warmly every time we passed them coming in and out of the resort. Probably my fave place we stay because of the people who run it xx OH and Dickwella beach is right at the end of the drive way and beats Hiriketiya beach by a mile. So much better and much quieter to spend the day.

The hosts were so helpful, so pleasant and really nice people. The apartment was perfect for a couple and some privacy. As an added bonus, there are monkeys in the garden and the family dog (Blacky) was so playful.

Charith & Nishadi are the most amazing hosts. I came for three nights and stayed nineteen! A decent little righthand break was in easy walking distance and Hiriketiya just five minutes away on my scooter. The smaller room, which I had, had a view out to the break and received a cool (ish) sea breeze. I'll definitely be returning 😊

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of...

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of our visit to the south of Sri Lanka. The location, food, staff, and service were above and beyond our expectations. We made the choice of having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and I would highly recommend anyone else to do the same. The food is some of the best anywhere in Sri Lanka, especially the fish made in various ways. The stay was made extra special by the attentive and friendly staff and they took every effort to provide us with the best service. Big thanks goes out to all the staff in the reception, restaurant, pool, housekeeping, and maintenance. We look forward to our next stay with you.

I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs.

I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs. Venture to any other hotels in the region and skip this hotel. Management was completely unsupportive to any of our needs - we showed up after a long flight to find out our rooms were not available at all and were told to go find another hotel.

Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean,...

Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean, which is always warm as five o'clock tea. Big swing, and a bar on the beach... all you need here is time. Time to relax, time to forget the road trip here, to forget that you have to go back to daily chores, etc. Just swim, sun bathe, sip, repeat!

This apartment complex is very new and beautifully appointed. We had the top floor apartment which was HUGE. The pool is gorgeous, and the staff are extremely attentive and friendly, treating us "like family" our entire stay. It was a short distance to Dikwella beach, and a 5minute tuk tuk ride to Hireketiya. We would gladly stay again. Thankyou to Dara, Indika and families!

Great new villas located at the end of Dikwella beach and only a short walk to Hiri beach. The villas were clean and comfortable and the pool was great for a dip on a hot afternoon. Everything you could need is only a short walk away and there is no shortage of places to eat and drink nearby. Amazing breakfast every day. Great views to the ocean and surrounding areas.

Good walking distance to Dikwella Beach and a tuk tuk drive or hilly walk to Hiriketiya. Was very clean and comfortable with AC. Views of ocean and can watch local monkeys from balcony. I highly recommend a meal at Smoke and Bitters and breakfast at Surf and Spice! The Hoppers down the road are also fresh and tasty!

Fairly cheap and located for easy access to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. The veranda area looking onto the garden is nice to be fair and if you need to work it’s a nice view. With so little effort they could improve the room- get on with it.
