Srimal and his family were so friendly and helpful. They showed me where everything was and how it all worked. This is an amazing guesthouse, very nicely decorated and clean, and the price is fantastic. I had the whole villa to myself, but it would be great for a family or two couples. Dodanduwa Beach is only a short walk away and Hikkaduwa is very accessible by Tuk tuk, cab or bus. I liked it so much I stayed an extra night and would use agin if in the area.

A fantastic place right by the ocean. The hotel staff, along with the hotel manager and the hotel's four-paw manager, made us feel right at home from the very moment our car pulled up to the entrance. Excellent rating overall! Supun/Mel and the lovely staff are doing a fabulous job as hosts of Amaroo! By far the best accomodation we could have imagined for our style - its the place to be in Hikka! Cool vibes! Perfect location as well (beachfront, surfspot, restos/bars, atm in front). Everyday changing breakfast is a dream, and so is the restaurants food menue! Surfguidings and boards were on a super good level. AND: Getting up in the morning, receiving the loveliest „good morning“ every day by Harsh followed by instant serving of fresh coffee with the brightest smile you could imagine made every day from the first minute a really good one! Definitely coming back one day 😎

The rooms are spacious and equipped with smart home appliances, a kitchen, an oven, tableware, and all the necessary facilities.
