I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cape House, and it was a truly fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, and our stay was nothing short of perfect. A special mention must go to the manager, Eranda. He is one of the kindest and most inventive managers I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our stay incredibly enjoyable. He was especially wonderful with my son, making him feel welcome and special throughout our visit. I highly recommend the Cape House to anyone looking for a remarkable place to stay. The combination of outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and Eranda’s exceptional management truly sets this place apart. Eranda deserves a massive raise for his dedication and the wonderful experience he provides to guests. Thank you, Cape House, for an unforgettable stay. We will definitely be returning!

The property was in a beautiful and convenient location in Haputale. The room we stayed in had one of the best views I’ve ever seen. The prices were very reasonable. There were several food items to pick from the dinner and breakfast menus. Overall highly recommended for locals and tourists both!

We had a wonderful stay at Dream 7 for 4 nights with our toddler. Isuru and the team went out of their way to look after us. They cooked delicious food, arranged transport for us, and even gave us special treats and flowers for new years eve. Our room was spacious and clean with a beautiful balcony and view. We strongly recommend!

Amazing garden, very cool area, and nice rooms. And most of all, very cool staff. Extremely helpful and nice! Also we had visit from monkeys and cute dogs. We slept comfortably. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night - we would've loved to stay longer. Do not miss out on the pahathudawa waterfall just close by.

The staff were beautiful people, very helpful and accommodating. The views are splendid. The FOOD IS THE BEST PART. Amazing buffets, im usually not a fan of buffet, but they were real good. They spoil you rotten. I felt like being within the property only instead of going out.

The first true 10 on our Sri Lanka trip so far! Absolutely beautiful location, a little bit outside of Haputale in a beautiful surrounding. You can easily hike around the area for some hours and other places are just a tuk tuk ride away, everything is organized to a very fair price from the owners. We really loved our 3 days stay here, it was very peaceful. The food is really good and portion sizes are very generous, and I would also like to mention that you can do a cooking class there. The cooking class facilities looked great (we didn't do one, because we did one in Kandy a couple days before). We were also invited to join the family for Perahera festivities in a city nearby - which was a great evening and experience! Everyone is truly nice and helpful, which is something we appreciated a lot.

We are a Belgian family (father and 2 adult children) travelling through Sri Lanka in summer 2023. Looking for a hotel at walking distance from the Horton Plains National Park we ended up in the Hill Safari Tea Estate Hotel. At the Ohiya train station (approx. 5 km from the hotel) we were picked up by the owner, Mr Perera, who was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the site. The hotel, located in a tea plantation, has a fantastic view on the Sri Lankan lowlands (comparable to that at World’s End). Just note that the hotel is quite remotely located and therefore food is taken on site (food is excellent!). We organized a trip to the Horton Plains, going (early morning) by tuktuk and returning by foot (watch out for sunburn on the way back!). We can only be (very) positive about the hotel, the owners, and the staff.
