I had the pleasure of staying at The Nest Kandana, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience. Its location is perfect – easy access to town and everything you need within reach. We had the best time here! From the clean, spacious, and super comfortable rooms to the warm and friendly staff, everything was top-notch. We truly felt welcomed. The rooftop restaurant and bar had the most stunning views, overlooking the beautiful city of Colombo. We were lucky to be there during Vesak, a festival celebrated across Sri Lanka with gorgeous lanterns and lights everywhere—it made the view from the rooftop even more magical. Overall, the service was excellent, and we’d absolutely love to come back again!

very nice place in crowdy Colombo. We were even able to use the pool in late evening. Nice rooms with good equipment. They even have a fitness studio. We had a great time here before our flight.

We arrived in Sri Lanka very early in the morning (around 2 am), and although there was some confusion with our booking—likely due to booking.com not notifying the hotel about our late-night arrival—the staff handled the situation with exceptional kindness. The team who received us were incredibly understanding and made us feel safe and welcome despite the hour. They quickly arranged a room for us and ensured we were comfortable. Their hospitality really stood out and made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. We truly appreciated their accommodating and friendly approach.

Everything was really clean, there is an A/C. The bathroom was by far the best in Sri Lanka. You can use a shampoo, shower gel or hairdryer in there. Bed was really comfortable, free airport shuttle service anytime. They provide a dinner, we didn’t use it but it seemed nice (in the picture below) :)

When we arrived we were stunned by the beautiful architecture of the Villa. It is very open und full of light. Even some trees got planted inside the living room which really gave us the feeling of freedom and nature. The host couple welcomed us most welcoming and where always there for our questions and needs. The rooms where always clean and tidy. After 6 Nights of staying I can only recommend to come and stay with them to get a feeling of the best Sri Lankan hospitality.
