We had a truly wonderful stay at Croft Cottage! The property is a stunning British-style 3-storey villa, beautifully designed and immaculately maintained. The location is excellent, making it both peaceful and convenient. The cottage has lovely common areas that make it feel warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing together. All facilities are top-notch, thoughtfully provided, and everything worked seamlessly. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Taranga, the housekeeper, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable in every way. His attention to detail, hospitality, and genuine care made the experience exceptional — he truly elevated our time here. Overall, Croft Cottage is the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and luxury. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely love to return!

We stayed in Nuwara Eliya for a week, trying out different places, and J's Villa was the best for its price and super clean. The host was really nice and helped us a lot. We felt at home during our 2-night stay. The host even said they could cook for us if we brought groceries, but we didn't try it because we ate outside. The location is good, not too far from the city – about 15 minutes by car. Overall, it's a really good place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

This hotel is newly built and in an exzellent condition. It is friendly and clean and has beautiful english furnitures. European and American guest will feel just like at home! It is a perfect place to relax in a britsh luxury atmosphere and recover from exhausting traveling across the country. The climate is fresh and full of clean air. We want to say special thanks to the housekeepers Christy and Jegan who were amazing! They made us feel at home and helped us with every matter (even with a ironing). They are the nicest hotel stuff we have met during our 4 weeks stay in Sri Lanka. Our special tip for travellers: take a tasty cup of cinnemon tea which is handmade by Chef Kelum, the cook. The hotel is situated in a hidden place called "Little England" which is very good protected and you can feel safe and enjoy privacy. Christy and Jegan arranged very cheep tuktuk trips for us, to go downtown or to go to the central bus station of Nuwara Eliya, and we had a super driver: Ruha, he was reliable and always punctual.

Lovely hotel just out of town up a steep hill hence great views. Rooms are huge and super clean and comfy. Staff were all fab and food was amazing great value for money. We had dinner and they got some beer delivered for us as they don't have a licence to sell. Breakfast was great particularly the sri Lankan option. Lots of hot water in the shower and snuggly duvets. It's a little chilly up there.
